  1. I use Royal Purple HPS and K&N oil filters.
  2. I won't let other people change mine.
  3. Or get her a Cruzer Fit and tell her to prioritize her song picks.
  4. Ford puts a keyhole on the driver's side on most vehicles. Is this not true on the MKX?
  5. Optional doesn't mean it is not there by default. It means you have the OPTION to leave it off.
  6. I'm at almost 5k and I already have the oil and filter in the garage for this weekend.
  7. Not too bad. Have to pull the bumper cover.
  8. I had the same circumstances. Fortunately, my dealer had a Ford exec turn in a lease sport that didn't have one. We switched the lower grille piece, and I now have no holes.
  9. Exodus, bet me. (You're right on some vehicles, and the Edge isn't one of 'em.)
  10. They lied. Just talked to a Kenwood rep. It's nothing but a box that you can buy to retain sync features with a new Kenwood head unit.
  11. Mine leans forward, and I like it. I think the driver's size may be a bigger factor than I previously thought.
  12. No, Kenwood has an in-dash nav unit of their own that will connect to Sync. It's for Sync vehicles, not MFT ones.
  13. I think the new escape looks like a Rav4.
  14. Camping, kinda. I got stuck in the woods once overnight with no cell signal, so I slept in my Yakima Blacktop Pro 21 until daylight so I could figure out how to escape. It's the one on the left...
  15. I have absolutely exceeded the rating on my '99 Explorer. I'm 240 lbs, and it held me for hours.
  16. I can indeed verify that. Mine were on for a week, but they pissed me off so I had them turned back off.
  17. I kind of agree with akirby. Discussing new symptoms, new information, or new solutions is productive. Dropping by for the daily complaint is pretty tiring.
  18. If it's that occasional, just stay home until the roads clear. Here in Atlanta, the whole city is paralyzed if you even say the "S-word." Grocery stores sell out of bread, eggs, and milk almost instantly. I guess Atlantans eat more french toast than I ever realized.
  19. I did mine, but I have a bunch of tools and have done this sort of thing before. It's a lot easier than I had anticipated, but I agree that if you think you might not be able to do it, don't try. Take it to a shop. An an alignment is most definitely needed.
  20. No, DRLs can be programmed to the headlights, or the blinkers. No LEDs. I can verify this personally.
  21. The Ford parts catalog lists the same part number for both sides, and for both years. That driver's side headrest looks more like a 4th gen Explorer one to me.
  22. I put the H&Rs on mine and it's more of a drop than that.
