  1. I knew I didn't want the Visa Roof as I had a feeling that it would create more issues than benefits for me, so I just opted for the basic 300A. As it turned out I am glad I did. As my old grandfather once said, " Why would you cut a hole in a perfectly good roof, you are just asking for trouble?"
  2. I was wondering about the various options packaged within equipment groups like 201A, or 301A, 302A. There sure seems to be a lot of "stuff" packaged in each of these equipment groups, some of them have been reported here as problematic. If you could pick and choose which option(s) would be deleted from one of these packages?
  3. I happened to stumble onto this band and thought others might get a laugh out of these videos also. Seems that Rev. Peyton knows his way around a guitar.
  4. Right! It's like washing an Elephant. Washing / Waxing that roof is a real thrill too. I use a step stool and have to remind myself not to lean over too far and send the stool crashing into the side of the vehicle.
  5. Now that you have owned your 2 gen. Edge a while here is a question for you: If you could have a line item veto / delete on a specific option within a given trim level package what would that be and why? Those of us of a certain age will remember that "back in the day" hell, we could do a radio delete.
  6. Thanks for your report Cole, and I suspect you had a TB issue. You should get it checked out.
  7. Thanks for this! I will be interested to know how much will be in the intake tract the next time you check it.
  8. It just occurred to me that I have never seen that anyone that had installed a catch can on their vehicle ever went back later to see if the intake tract was free of oil. It might be an interesting exercise in seeing just how effective these catch cans really are. Regardless though, as stated above "Every little bit helps!"
  9. Brian, Dan, Tom, & broadcaster; Make sure to let us know if your taillights get replaced by your dealer. See if you can get the new part # if there is one.
  10. A bit more info... link removed, no longer valid
  11. FYI: https://consumerist.com/2017/03/02/ford-recalls-32000-vehicles-over-airbags-that-wont-inflate/
  12. Yeah I saw that after digging into my OM, but my issue happened without going into reverse while driving. I messed around with the system today and could not get it to replicate, but I tested it in the driveway without moving the vehicle.
  13. Before I dig out the OM can someone tell me if it is possible to remove the rear wiper from the automatic mode it seems to be in? Here is what I mean; If you turn on the front wipers, the back wiper comes on too whether you want them or not. This morning I was driving in fog thick enough to need the front wipers on (intermediate setting) and the back wiper came on too. The back glass was dry and covered in dust and I hate for them to drag dry grit across the rear glass. Is there a menu that I can re-set to end this auto- rear wiper operation? Thanks, yeah I know, I should read the damn OM.
  14. Good to see this thread again!
  15. For what it's worth, my 2016 Ti. had the 20" Pirelli' Scorpion's.
  16. Odd that this happened with just a door unlock operation. Are we talking about the rear hatch or rear door? Was this car garaged, or was it sitting in (I am guessing) a very cold ambient temp? If outside, how cold was it?
  17. You did not mention where the noise was coming from, but rotate the tires and see if the location of the noise changes.
  18. IMO the entire drive-line is not fully broken in until you have reached at least 5K and probably more, but that may well depend on how it is driven. I also believe you can't go wrong getting an oil change now. You may well have people tell you that you are wasting your money, but I consider the first oil change to be the most important one in the life of your vehicle. Cheap insurance!
