I should have bought this Honda to keep my S2000 company.

What the hell happened here? From riding lawn mowers to the Southern Cali. 60's land grab. That's today"s internet for you. Now let's bash BOZO the POTUS!

I am pretty pleased with my 2016, but I wish the sound system sounded better and I wish the back seats would fold flat.

2015 2.0 gurgling ac on passenger side
Chipster replied to solodogg's topic in 2015+ Edge & MKX Generation II
Is this a once a trip sort of occurrence, and perhaps only on first startup? This won't apply to your Edge, but my wife's 2010 2.5 Fusion did the same thing the entire time she owned it. (it was replaced with a 2016 Fusion) Ford did a TSB fix for it, but after we took hers in for several dealer attempted fixes we gave up on it and just ignored it. The noise in her Fusion never progressed to anything worse. -

I was looking over my wheels on my 2016 and while looking at the front wheels I happened upon what I considered to be a possible noise generator built into the front wheel well. I have not noticed any wind noise that I would consider bothersome, but not being one of those to leave well enough alone I had to investigate / do something about what I saw as a possible problem. There is no doubt that water, salt, and dirt get into this hole in the outside leading edge of the lower back edge of the two front wheel wells. The first picture shows the area I am talking about and the subsequent pictures are the simple steps I took to prototype a fix. I just used a flat piece of plastic I had on hand to cover the hole, but some sort of expanding foam would be much quicker and perhaps better. As I say, I don't know if this gap in the bodywork is creating noise or not, but this was easy enough to do so I don't think it will hurt. Sorry that the pictures aren't any clearer, but I think you get the idea.

If your cabin air filter is that dirty, what about your engine air filter?

I just had TSB 17B28 (throttle body replacement) performed on my 2016 3.5. Here are a couple of pictures with the different part or ID numbers between the old and new throttle bodies.Hopefully whatever issues that were experienced by owners with the old part are solved by the new one. Top picture is the old one with its replacement beneath it.

I am just trying to figure it all out.

Throttle body problem? Some 2016's 3.5's have a "Replace TB" TSB. Mine does.

Well not exactly! Not all JD's are created equal and in fact there are some really big differences between the JD's sold in the big box stores and what JD sells @ their own retail outlets. I just got back from a visit to my local JD outlet and was very surprised to discover that their smaller lawn tractors (maybe bigger ones as well?) are powered by one and two cylinder Kawasaki engines while the Home Depot sold JD's use Kohler twins and what are described as "OEM" single cylinder engines. The sales guy at the JD outlet maintained that there are other differences to be found on the mower deck and drive components as well. Man, this mower due diligence is a bitch! One more thing, the warranty on the JD 's from their outlets are two to four years depending on the model selected.

Simon; I looked into your Yanmar statement about them being the manufacturer of JD & Club Cadet. All I found was that they make some JD engines.(I suspect only diesels) This was all I found: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yanmar

Perhaps you mean the formally known as Sears? These days that purchase would be a real crap shoot!
