  1. Obviously living in a cave far away from all those nasty ECUs has it's own benefits and thus some market But I don't miss the choke valve, mechanically operated wipers and manually opened windows instead of AC. I love "fluffs"
  2. So the flow behind the roof goes up? Don't think so. There's a lower pressure pocket behind the moving object, so both upper and lower turbulent streams curl toward the license plate. But my thought wasn't about an aerodynamics, just tailgate spoiler looks too massive, who knows what's hidden inside it!
  3. I had them as well. Gone after a week or so, maybe due to several power washer clean ups - to my big surprise those sparkling things came back from the first wash.
  4. Rock-solid car you might be looking for: Good luck with those.
  5. I've had my PCM ECU updated. Did not have any issues, just found an updated "calibration" (weird term Ford uses for ECU firmware).
  6. Mine is early April, as per Ford's rep on this forum (I gave my VIN) it has been treated already. Haven't seen any leaks for 2 month I own my Edge.
  7. Looking cool is the key to a brighter future? Well, at least not 10,000K making headlights useless.
  8. I think many owners of 2014-2015 Jeep Cherokee would love to drop 3 extra gears on their 9-speed transmission in exchange for the transmission that does not glitch.
  9. No Source button on a dash of MyFord Touch-equipped 2015 Edge . Sources are selectable via either touch screen, Entertainment menu on instrument cluster right hand screen, or through voice command. In Radio/Sirius modes Seek button scrolls through presets, tune scrolls between stations.
  10. djrjr, to me your video clearly looks like a CAN bus communication disruption between PCM and other ECUs (or faulty CAN bus transceiver on one of the major ECUs, BCM is suspect #1). The dealer needs to check CAN bus for having proper physical parameters, at least that's what I'd do.
  11. If your dealer has online inventory just check if they have 2016 in stock
  12. You did not add a cherry - the sweating tail light bar! Damn, I'm lazy, but I'd kill took her to the dealer for much fewer issues...
  13. Claimed power is 80W. Actually nowhere close to that. Wouldn't use them for high beam for sure. But for DRLs they're acceptable, a bit brighter than stock halogen though somewhat greenish.
  14. Wow, that's a whole blast of hatred Speaking of being frozen/stuck - shutters servo is more than just stepper motor, it provides ECU with a full feedback including being overloaded.
  15. I believe first version of Edge did not have either lens or HID options.
  16. Quite opposite. We have a huge Evo and Ralliart community here, and while some issues are well-known (some parts of Miutsu's highly advanced AWD system tend to fail due to our winters) the engine and turbo are rock-solid, their humble 2.0 engine can be pushed way north of 500 whp.
  17. Not sure what peeling are you talking about yet it sounds like a warranty case. Go to your dealer and have it replaced.
  18. HIDs retrofitted in a reflector headlight is a very bad thing. You will blind other drivers no matter what. Just because of optics laws. A while back I had 9006 HID kit on my 2005 Ford Freestyle and I still feel the shame for being careless. In halogen projector headlights HIDs are somewhat acceptable.
  19. Turn bulbs provide some extra visibility as well. There is no regulated amount of light that DRLs need to provide I am aware of, and some stock DRL setups are considerably less bright than this 2 turn signal kind. My personal opinion is that low beams as DRLs should be prohibited at all - they give bad drivers a dangerous illusion that their headlights (and tail lights too!) are on, especially with modern always-lit instrument clusters.
  20. It's hard to tell for sure as I have new part# but not old one. But considering the fact that part ends with B it could be a newer version, same as with weatherstrip. On the other hand A version of a light bar could be non lit (for SE/SEL), and A version of weatherstrip could be a chrome type (non-Sport).
