  4. I just completed the update to 3.0 from 2.3 via USB. Took about 20 minutes The new version has added heated steering button on the main screen. I do have the option as part of the cold package but up till V2.3, the button was on the climate screen.
  5. I find the data from the Fusion Forum are a closer match to my as built data and i have a 2016 SEL. I used it for my mods. http://www.2gfusions.net/showthread.php?tid=4573
  6. if it 's still under warranty, take it to your dealership and have them fix it.
  7. what about using biometrics instead? replace the keypad with a fingerprint reader and upgrade the start/stop button with a fingerprint reader as well.
  8. you can download your As Built data at https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt
  9. gtyates, agree that the biggest issue is drivers forgetting to turn on their headlights, even in normal good weather conditions. Keep on seeing them at night or early morning, cars on the road with only DRLs in the middle of the night. Options, equip all cars with Auto Headlamp, or change DRLs to include taillights. Manufacturers will have to find a way to block configuration changes. The other issue is cars running with one headlamp or burnt out bulbs (no taillights/brake lights). not sure why the feature don't exist anymore. In my 1986 BMW 323I, I had an indicator above the center rear-view mirror that would warn me for any burnt light bulbs (including licence plate bulbs), Today, aside form the Hyper-flash for turn signals, only a visual inspection will reveal any burnt out bulbs As for the rear fog light, I believe it is just a matter of getting used to it, but also driver's education . The main challenge with them always was to get drivers to not turn them on in normal weather.
  10. One thing I miss about European cars is the rear fog light. Helps a lot in spotting the car in front of you in heavy fog or even white out conditions. Haven't seen any on NA cars, even those equipped with front fog lights.
  11. https://www.bumperspecialties.com/ used them to get replacement bumpers for my 2013 defelctor.
  12. Start stop is only available on SE trim with 2.0 ecoboost. All other trims do not have the stop start feature. If you're ordering new, the V6 is optional at $. SE, SEL & TITANIUM come with the 2.0 ecoboost engine as standard.
  13. Looking for additional details on Field Service Action FSA 17B39. Anyone with details? Thx.
  14. Do I see Fog Lights?? Is that a trailer hitch (third picture)??? Still no full leather options for the seats??? Still Sony, no Revel??
  15. I believe you are looking for the signature LED lights (AKA lamp assembly - side marker) part number FT4Z-13200-F (right) and FT4Z-13200-E (left)
  16. the package came with the Dunlop Winter maxx SJ8, TPMS and the 18" SE rims.
  17. Someone already done the swap described in this thread You have to swap all tail lights (left and right assembly + center assembly) after that you need to reprogram using forscan. otherwise you'll have the same problem as described in the post I believe the BCM values for the Titanium and sport tailights are: 726-28-01 0101-0001-015A 726-28-02 0000-0100-0159
  18. I only paid $1000 CAD + tax but was part of a promo when I got the car. If i had to pay $2000, i would have gone aftermarket. i would use the OEM for winter and get a nice set for summer
  19. Here's a pic of the winter rims from Ford on my 2016 SEL
  20. Ford has a current offer for a "Winter safety package at no extra charge with the purchase or lease of most New SUVs". Check ford.ca site.
  21. I opted for the winter package from Ford that included tires, rims and tpms for $1000CAD. The rims are the 18" oem rims that come on the SE trim
  22. you should take it to the dealership and have them address it under warranty.
  23. @omar302, the menu only allows to turn on or off the DRL; also it is not available on G2 edge sold in Canada. the menu option can be added but you will still need forscan to switch the DRL from low beams to high beams
