I can confirm they are only held on by 1 bolt and a push-in pin.

Improve The Quality Of Your OEM Sub For $5
gjb89 replied to gjb89's topic in Audio, Backup, Navigation & SYNC
I will say Ford is attempting to solve the problem. My 2013 F150 had maybe 8" of that insulation stuff and the edge has about a 18" lol. Still isn't enough though. -
How often do you use your paddle shift?

I've used mine 3 times maybe. After a tune I didn't find it useful. -
This is a quick cheap mod you can do to get the most out of your OEM sub-woofer. I picked this up over at the F150forums when I wasn't pleased with the way my Sony sub sounded. Adding Polyfill inside the enclosure made a great change, best part is it didn't even cost $5. I decided to try this out on the Edge this weekend and the results were great. The poly fill actually tricks the sub into thinking it's in a much larger enclosure. The driver cone responds better in a larger enclosure and smooths out the bass hit. Things you will need $5 Bag of Polyfill (I purchased a 16oz bag and used 1/6 of it) 10mm, 8mm & 7mm Sockets Trim tool if you have one. (Harbor Freight has them for cheap) 30-45 mins 1) Remove the cover for the spare tire & the bin on the right side. 2) Remove the lower center trim. Held on by some trim clips, there are two on the back side too. 3) Make your way to the right side of the cargo area and slowly work way up the panel on the right side releasing the trim clips as you go up. No reason to remove the whole panel, you just need enough room to pull the enclosure out. I had my wife hold back the panel as I unbolted and removed the enclosure. 4) Remove 2 10mm bolts (top and left sides of enclosure) and 10mm nut (bottom side of enclosure). Then pull out the enclosure by lifting up and pulling. 5) Take out the 8 7mm screws surrounding the sub and the 8mm bolt on the bottom of the enclosure. 6) Lift up the sub and pull out the material that is inside and start stuffing the enclosure with Polyfill. Make sure to get every cavity. Do not over pack it and leave enough room for the sub fit back inside. I forgot to take a picture of the enclosure filled with polyfill so I included a picture from the write up I did for my F150. To get everything back together and back in follow the instructions in reverse order.

Should have wrote that 3 weeks ago, I passed through there on my trip to New Mexico lol.

Thank you specialk4523! I took a picture of the rear emblem on the hatch and sent it to my embroiderer to have it digitized, that way the "font" matched. Took him about a month to get the text just right. I think it was well worth the wait. I was going to have the rear headrests done too but apparently those are glued together and he didn't feel comfortable taking those apart.

Since there has been a few discussions lately on “Top Tier” gas I figured I would share a short article on AAA’s independent study on different tier levels of gas. http://www.consumerreports.org/car-maintenance/study-shows-top-tier-gasoline-worth-extra-price/?loginMethod=auto In short, “Top Tier” gasoline had 19 times fewer carbon deposits on injectors, intake valves, and in the combustion chamber when compared to regular gasoline and also can have a cleansing effect. The “Top Tier” was roughly only $ 0.03 more per gallon. The picture is allegedly after a 100 hour test. I find that a significant difference in just 100 hours. List of licensed Top Tier stations 76 Aloha Petroleum Amoco ARCO Beacon BP Break Time Cenex Chevron CITGO Conoco Co-op Costco CountryMark Diamond Shamrock Entec Esso Express Exxon Holiday Kwik Star Stores Kwik Trip Mahalo MFA Mobil Ohana Fuels Petro-Canada Phillips 66 PUMA QT Quik Trip Road Ranger Shamrock Shell / Shell V-Power Sinclair Standard SuperAmerica SuperFuels Tempo Texaco Tri-Par Valero

Shouldn't have brought up your thoughts on "top tier" gas then lol.

The OEM one works well for me.

I've had a few questions about my BOV installation and how the to hook up a Vac/Boost gauge. This should help.

It made a difference, deepened it up a bit. No drone or rasp. Removing the resonator added both though. If I remember correctly the MRT uses two individual mufflers where Magnaflow uses a dual in dual out. I would imagine the MRT would have a more aggresive sound over the magnaflow. That's just me speculating.

Leave a resonator in. Took mine out and put it back in 4 hours later.

Welcome! I've been very satisfied with my Spirt so far!

Working in the Petro business I can tell you there is a forsure difference between low tier and top tier gas. The extra cents will pay in the long end.

We had a titanium without HIDs and i was very unsatisfied with. Our Sport has the HIDs and it's a night and day difference. -
The 15' and up ones look sharp. Like Nick said they are multiple pieces.

Sticky: 2015 Edge Bulb Size
gjb89 replied to built2prfctn's topic in Glass, Lenses, Lighting, Mirrors, Sunroof (BAMR), Wipers
Switch backs will not work in our cars. We utilize the 7440 bulb which is a single filament bulb. If you do use a led turn signal you can use forscan to turn off the bulb out indicator to eliminate the hyper flash instead of using resistors. -
