Just because it's assembled in Canada doesn't make it any less American. That's like saying the Toyota's built in the US are not Japanese. They are engineered and assembled according to the main manufacturer's specs, not the country they are being built in.

Haha it was never to see the Lions, rather to see them play the Bills (or Minnesota a few times). Southfield was because my last job has its head office there. Nice area for the most part.

My drone comments were specific to the axle backs from Borla. I've had them on previous V6 and Boxer 4cyl applications and never liked the sound.

I used to spend a lot of time in Southfield and Battle Creek for work if that helps. oh and I've been to a ton of Lions games at the old Silverdome and Ford Field.

It was the muffler only I was referring to (which is what they are selling). Although I had a full cat back Borla exhaust on my previous Subaru BRZ and the drone was terrible. I ended up switching it for an HKS cat back.

Never liked Borla mufflers. They drone big time which is so annoying when cruising.

That's why I said I actually didn't opt out of the package. I found a vehicle that happened to not have the package and I justified liking it because I hated that the two items were packaged together and I couldn't have the one item I wanted (huge run on sentence but I think you get the point). The topic is about what packages would you delete something from...plain and simple, I would have the heated steering wheel a stand alone option (despite it being packaged with a relatively inexpensive set of floor mats).

It's still a win in my opinion. Newer models always have more kinks worked out even if nothing seemed to have changed.

Unfortunately I don't know the cause. I drive by the Ford Assembly plant every day and other than traffic being horrible, it looks to be busy! Haha probably not the answer you were looking for.

Principles. I hate being forced to get something I want to get something I don't want. In this case, I didn't actually opt out of the heated steering wheel because of the mats, instead I chose a configuration that was available that happened to not have this package (and I was happy about it - despite me being mad that I don't have a heated steering wheel now lol). Principles!
