oskar27 Take just a little time to go through this thread and you'll likely find the answers to all your questions on this subject, including a video on how to determine your engine's manufacturing location.

My edge is doing this today. Does anyone know what the fix is? 2019 Ford Edge SEL AWD
Have you considered any of the suggestions in this thread?

Looks a lot like the Mustang Mach-E
I couldn't live without the rear load capacity of the Edge, which that vehicle doesn't appear to have.

When mine had the exact same symptoms it was it was solved with a new evap purge valve on top of the engine - the error code can be either of the two valves.
Have you been using OEM Motocraft parts?
What error codes ?

In that case it will have an MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor which the ECU uses to determine load instead of the Mass Air Flow sensor.
Search for a small device mounted on the intake manifold.
The temperature sensor (AIT) is used by the ECU to calculate air density.
I don't believe that the AIT or MAP have anything to do with the symptoms you describe - it will take more in-depth diagnostics, and possible temporarily blanking off the Evap System.

Thanks Haz
Its around this time that most manufactures switched from MAF to MAP.
The MAF is a much more fragile device and often damaged when owners attempt cleaning - if an inspection confirms its clean, I don't touch it.

Try cleaning the throttle body and MAF. It can't hurt.
Are you sure this model has an MAF ?

Depends, when filling up do you top-off,....if so then the canister and purge valve could fail prematurely.
What code reader are you using?

What code reader/app are you using?

How about adding that to your signature - https://www.fordedgeforum.com/settings/signature/
Best get the stored error codes read and go from there.
There's a temp sensor on the PTU and doubt that there's one on the RDU.

Sorry! It’s a 2016 SEL AWD with the 3.5
How about adding that to your signature - https://www.fordedgeforum.com/settings/signature/
Its likely the temp sensor in the PTU which is still rotating with AWD disabled.
Have you been maintaining the PTU - oil change frequency?
-
Doubt you're going to hear from the OP any time soon.

Seen in YouTube video where mechanic used a either 14.5mm or 15.5mm, 1/2" drive sockets on chrome-capped nuts. Worked perfectly. Think Amazon carries them
Not sure what to make of this - are you referring to the stud size?
I use a 21mm six-sided deep socket and my original style lug nuts are in perfect condition - not long ago Discount Tire installed a tires and unlike my local Ford dealership they did not use an impact wrench to remove or tighten the lug nuts.

I've been planning to repaint the black part of my Sports tips using satin black, but now after seeing yours I'm going to paint the entire thing black.
About two years later I got this done - I also painted the chrome part black.
Used the satin black with satin clear coat.

Where can I order it?
Read the subject line - "SOLD OUT: 2015+ Edge IPC Lens/Masks ......."

There's an abundance of reports on here of the 3rd party units not functioning and folks had to cough up and go with OEM.

OEM or 3rd Party fans and controller?

I have been getting the P0456 code after erasing it a few times. It has been running rough upon acceleration. I cleaned the fuel inlet area, Filled a few tanks with high octane fuel and used a few cans of Sea Foam. Still chugging upon acceleration. My next course is the canister purge valve. I've seen on this group that the purge valve is location near the rear axle, however not true. It looks like it's under the air filter box. Any suggestions on a fix?
2020 Ford Edge SEL 2.0 Turbo
The symptoms associated with P0456 is rough idle, with no other performance issues, so the rough acceleration is something else.
When I replaced my evap purge valve on my 2.7L the service manager mentioned that the code is most often resolved with the replacement of this valve, but a very limited number have needed to replace the canister vent vale near the rear axle.
The P0456 points to the evap purge valve typically mounted close to or on top of the engine, as is the case with my 2.7L, but could also be the canister vent valve or poor sealing gas cap.
How's the coolant level - losing any coolant?
Maybe @Haz can help with more info.

Had two sets of drilled & slotted rotors and now very happy with the solid rotors.

Its likely a bad seal on the steering rack and the leaked oil is collecting in the concertina boots and only after they're FULL will it start leaking out to the ground.

However if you have the 2.0l and it's collapsed the is a chance of debris from the cat ending up in the turbo and taking out the turbo.
Is that possible? - the turbo is upstream of the CAT in the exhaust gas flow path.

Are you aware that this is not the Mustang forum? - its specifically for the Ford Edge models.
I see that you're in the United Arab Emirates - where did the vehicle come from, what market region?
