  1. I was looking at 35 watt 5000k. But then I keep thinking 6000k would be better. That’s why I can’t decide. I definitely don’t want blue lights. If you go by the pics on web sight the 5k is good.
  2. I have been looking at those to. Gave them a call and answered quickly and was very helpful. I’m like you. I want it to be white not yellow. I just can’t make my mind up on which bulb.
  3. Maybe it just me but I would never use those on anything I own. I feel they are unsafe. Could be wrong..
  4. I’m well aware of the pump issues and even the ptu problems. I think every brand of cars and trucks have at least one know problem. I maintain my vehicles really good. Changing fluids often I hope will help those issues. Heck my F150 EB Has lots of complaints. Blown engines , bad timing chains, valve coking, IWE Issues, transmission suddenly dropping down from 6 th gear to second on the freeways and brake problems. So far I haven’t had any of these problems. It really sucks every time I start my truck thinking is today the day I get some issues? I don’t feel that way with the Edge. Honestly because of my truck is why I was staying away from another DI EB motor. I’ve had 7 awesome Ford cars and trucks all have been trouble free. Hope my luck continues. That’s a bad cough you got there. They got medicine for that. LOL.
  5. I picked the 3.5 because of the reliability. I did test drive a 2.0 EB and just felt the power was not impressive above 65 mph. Im no stranger to the EB. I have one in my F150. So I know the turbo advantage. The only way you get great MPG Is you have to be mindful of how you drive. Drive like a grandpa and the mpg is good. I get 25 to 26 mpg in my Edge V6. One thing I dont like about the Edge is it sure downshifts a lot to keep the power up. Anyway Ill go for reliability over maybe someone saying my car is faster then yours.
  6. I feel your pain. I had a head gasket replaced on an 99 f150 by the dealer and in 1 mile I was turning around to take it back. Leaked oil so bad I left a smoke screen. They fixed it right the second time and I’m still buying Fords. Just saying. All Fords and dealerships aren’t like the one you took yours to.
  7. I fixed my rattle or squeaky noise with some WD40 on the little latch that holds the lid closed. No noises in my Edge now. How nice. Still love the Edge.
  8. Not sure if a 16 Tightanium has the same led lights but mine don’t do that.
  9. I don’t but I have talked to them about hid conversion. Very nice and helpful on the phone.
  10. One thing I like on my 3.5 EB F150 is how easy it takes off and never has to down shift under a load. My Edge 3.5 is constantly searching gears under the smallest load. The 3.5 Edge motor is a great motor. Lots of people have had great luck with them. Just keep up on fluid maintenance and your good to go.
  11. I guess everyone’s body’s are different. Wife and I have bad backs and the edge so far doesn’t hurt either one of us in a1400 mile trip we were dreading to do. I haven’t noticed anything uncomfortable about our seats.
  12. To me it looks like you would need 2 pieces of the sport bumper then the tips. Sort of looks like the exhaust tips are farther apart. Maybe the angle of pic. Hate to have to change the exhaust too.
  13. The sport bumper is painted also, isn’t it? More expense paying for paint.
  14. I kind of want those driving lights.
  15. I'm not positive but I think you have to take the bumper off to change the grill. So if the $300 one didn't fit good I'd be a little pissed.
  16. Nice. I have a 2013 ecoboost and really would like to trade for an 18. But with 10 more payments I can enjoy my truck a little longer. Have fun in your truck, their awesome.
  17. I have been looking at these also. Do you already have them? Thinking 5000k for me.
  18. Nice. I wanted to get lights that are a closer match to the driving lights color. And of course better output is a bonus.
  19. Or maybe needs an alignment. Mine goes perfectly straight. Grooves don't bother how straight it drives. I had to google tramingling to answer this question.
  20. 5 months later and a response. I guess it was a difficult question. Kidding aside, if the lower plug drains 3/4 of it out I could suck most the rest of it out. Lower plug is easier to get to.
  21. I paid $29,500 for a used 2016 Tightanium one year ago. It was actually only 8 months old. Not sure of SEL prices. But yours is brand new.
  22. Absolutely nothing wrong with doing what you do. But what bothers me is my brother in law has worked at a refinery now 31 years and has told me gas is gas. When a tanker pulls up to fill his truck with chevron gas they add the Techron at that point. And it's not even measured well because all they care is that load has Techron in it. Then a Shell truck pulls up and they use the same gas nozzle as chevron which comes from the same large storage tank. Add their additive and so on. He buys gas in some of the most crappy looking run down stations I've ever seen to save 5cents and has never had any gas related engine problems. I'm sticking to name brand gas. Makes me feel better.
