  1. This is a normal thing that will eventually happen when putting stiffer springs with stock shocks. The stock shocks aren't engineered for for extra spring rate and usually blow out the seals eventually.
  2. So I'm trying to figure out why people are so disappointed in the springs when they do exactly as advertised.... lower the car and provide a better handling vehicle by way of using a stiffer spring rate and SLIGHTLY lowering the vehicle. maybe someone can explain to me what I am missing....
  3. mos most likely the biggest difference is the end tank, ours is a single inlet, fusion is dual inlet. Small hurdle, but it will work. Btw if you guys didn't see it, check out the post I made in the turbo thread, exciting news!
  4. Exciting news! Looking in the territory 500hp with 22psi to redline!!! Woot!!!
  5. See this is why I like the community, correct me when I am wrong :-) thanks for digging into it GT500R!
  6. Unknown exactly, however our rep at CP-e said ours is a fair bit smaller.
  7. Actually the fusion stock intercooler is larger than ours lol, so its only worse with our cars.
  8. Sadly no hotside pipes, just coldside. from what I can see the hot side seems to be okay. these two mods will greatly help longevity, keeping those intake temps down is key!
  9. looking for any shared gear set/ bearing/ subunit number among any ford, lincoln platform. the sooner we know this the sooner we can do an awd burnout ;-)
  10. So lets combine this with the super restricting cold side pipe and I could easily see a 45whp gain!
  11. This is not available yet, we are helping CP-e in the design and fabrication of it. Hopefully, we will be running a prototype here shortly
  12. This is not for distribution...and I was wrong its 36hp sorry guys ;-)
  13. Nick we cannot disclose that information to the public yet, sorry. however i can report that they did pulls on the same day with an unleashed tune on the stock and CPE FMIC and these are the results: Stock: Begin temp 70F / end temp 180F CPE: begin temp 72F / end temp 87F and +38hp That is all we are able to disclose at this time, sorry again
  14. from what I understand it sounds good and not much drone. doesn't really help with power though.
  15. UPDATE: SNMJim and I fitted the Fusion rear sway bar. Summary: it fits but it is too short. We tried flipping end-links to gain more room but didn't work. However, its only 1.5 inches short. I will be contacting steeda to see if they will make one that will fit. Will update when i hear back from Steeda. Still trying to figure out how to attach images, once i do i will add them. -Special K OUT

After reviewing the graphs the aftermarket Diverter Valve seems to hold a more consistent boost with less variation over the stock. SO stupid question.... I see a diverter valve (which means it usually diverts air) but see no other tubes connected to it to divert air to or back to the turbo...maybe I am just confused?

Makes total sense! Thanks for the research and the great visuals!

Good research, why start a new thread instead of contributing to the current BOV thread?
  19. right, however for those not doing track duty and would like to keep the daily aspect of it, just doing a rear has plenty of benefits. Also, the fronts have to be developed and tested, the rear is so much easier. Yes im taking the easy way out, best bang for buck ;-)
  20. trust me if an ls3 would be an easy swap i would have done it already ;-). But we are looking for a left and right turbo to send off to have 2867gtx cores machined in, with the goal to hit 24psi and hold till redline instead of tapering off to 14psi and blowing hot air like our stock ones do.
  21. no from this "I've had my BOV on for 2 years now. It's more a sound mod "
  22. Update on swaybars: We have gotten our hands on a 2017 Fusion Sport rear sway bar and will be test fitting this coming week. With a quick layover test fitment, it seems to have the overall correct dimensions. It is thinner than our stock rear swaybar by 1mm but if it bolts right up then that means we can use their aftermarket sway bars which is fantastic because steeda already makes one, so I will call them up and see if they can produce the same bends with a thicker bar. Edge Sport stock rear swaybar = 24.7 mm Fusion Sport stock rear swaybar = 23.7 mm Steeda Fusion Sport rear swaybar= 26.2 mm UPDATE: Just got off the phone with steeda, they are on board if it is a one for one swap! moving in the right direction folks!
  23. Fantastic! thank you for that information! SNMJim before your next alignment we should check your camber and see if getting the camber bolt would be beneficial.
