kind of like the look of the newer sport rims . so was thinking of trying to just dip the rim pockets. what do u think? I guess if I like the look and it either doesn't hold up or just doesn't look good with dip I could have them painted.

Unless you install the drivebright lights first :)

Thanks for the good comeback and shameless plug!! :-). It is timely. We don't have them up on the website yet, but we now have a true SPORT smoke tinted lens available on our Shadow Black LED taillights. The photo below shows the tinted lens compared to our standard lens. The SPORT tinted lenses are made from tinted red polycarbonate and are not just coated with a spray or film tint, so it will never fade or peel off. The SPORT tinted Shadow Black tails are the same price as the standard lens Shadow Black tails. You can order them now by sending us an email at info@daytimebrightlites.com and adding "SPORT Shadow Black Taillights" in the subject line. We will then reply with instructions on how to place the order.

We have the SPORT tinted Shadow Black tails in stock for both the 2007-10 Edge and the 2011-14 Edge. We have 10 sets of each model in stock and more coming in mid September. Get your set today!!!

Please don't tint the actual brake lights. It makes it hard to see in the daytime especially when compared to other vehicles around you.

I usually don't like telling people what to do to their vehicles but in this case I will agree with the suggestion above. Back in 95 I thought I was cool by putting those blackout AVS tail light covers on my new Explorer until I took a good hit in the middle of the day. After that, I didn't think they were cool anymore! :)
