Champ Report post Posted June 9, 2020 2015 Edge, the automatic liftgate opens 10 inches then drops and locks again. When opened manually to the half way point, then pressing the gate open button, the gate will open 10" every time the button is pressed until it is all the way open. At that point it will try to open further but cant because it is at the top. I've tried the following disconnecting the battery pulling the fuse reprogramming the lift height. When the button is pressed and held the vehicle will not chime. Disconnecting the lift gate motor arm and cycling the button but nothing. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Gmandude Report post Posted June 19, 2020 RGTM module has failed two times on me. Mechanic finally suggested it’s because the amp on the Sony stereos is on top of it with no heat protection.
