Xtra...looking forward to your evaluation of the SB at the stiffer setting.

Special_K is the only person that has tested the bar at both settings and only he can make a proper comparison of the two.

I picked up a annoying squeak after the bar was installed. I think it might help to have some type of light lubracation under the  bushings to prevent this noise until things break in. Anyone else have this problem?

I did.  It was also noted in the instructions I read.  So far no noise from them.

It looks like in the picture of your bar that there was some grease applied to your bushings.  Did you figure out where it was coming from?  I had them apply some grease to mine, no squeaking so far.

I have an ADDCO RSB on my Maxima - one of the first mods I ever did.  Good to know I can do the same with my Edge (when I get it, anyhow).   :clapping:

True, however if you missed the group buy you will most likely not be able to get one.

I guess I'm hoping there'll be another...after all I am not planning to actually have an Edge in my driveway for awhile, unfortunately.

My bar had silicone grease applied at install, on the bar, the bushings and the side of the bushings where the locks are . You were correct ,I asked and you can see it in the photo as well. They even put grease in the zirk fittings of the links. Now I am not sure where the noise is coming from.

is silicone grease the right kind of grease for the swaybar?  In older vehicles, there was a special grease just for this purpose at least for polyurethane bushings, and very effective, but difficult to apply.

Used this on our 97 Dodge Intrepid and it worked perfectly.

I wrap the bar in teflon tape in the area where the poly bushings will.  Ive done this on a few other cars as well as instructed friends to do the same.  Never a squeak from any car and never a need to grease the bushings.

Just installed my collars.  After two weeks of running with out them and doing some fun driving I think my swaybar only moved to the passenger side by 1/8th of a inch.  So there is not that much movement if you do not install them.

Can we still purchase sway bars? Or has that ship sailed?

For that batch it has sailed.

However, key word here being "THAT BATCH"...

If you go back into this topic string (Post #48) for the manufacture (ADDCO) POC: John and give him a call he may be willing to produce another batch if you can generate enough interest to meet his minimum Qty number.... :clapping:

Recommendation: to Gen up enough interest you should include soliciting the Face Book Edge community in addition to this Forums... :hat_tip:
