  1. I have 2 vehicles with MFT and I would not get one without it. There are still some quirks but nothing like 1-2 years ago.
  2. That's one of the things I love on my new 2013 Fusion. It has a bright green light in the left side of the dash for both the headlamps and the foglamps. I would expect the next gen Edge to get it.
  3. How about you stop telling people what they should buy and what their system sounds like and what sounds good or not. Especially when Dingo is right about polarity and phase and you've never heard CDPratt's setup.
  4. 5 posts and you've already pissed off 4 people. What a great start. Seriously - just read the manual and then if you still have questions we'll be glad to help. But lose the attitude.
  5. Check the diameter of the wheels. The diameter should be the same (or very close) and if so it's fine.
  6. I do. Every time. Sometimes even before I actually get the car. If you're too lazy to do it then I'm too lazy to answer your questions.
  7. In other words - you like to let other people do all the research for you, even though the answer to most of your questions is readily available in the car or on the internet? Go to motorcraftservice.com -> owner guides and get the PDF version. You can do a search and find the answer in less time than it takes to post a question here. It's just common courtesy to at least check the manual before asking for help.
  8. You can tap the speaker wires for speaker level outputs or use an adapter on the back of the head unit to get line out.
  9. Buy a Tom-tom and use the other $1800 on something fun.
  10. Depends on the amount of the spiff check. I do know that the A plan price is 4% below invoice and holdback is only 3% of invoice so A plan price is either right at or just below the dealer's actual cost. If the A plan spiff check is only a few hundred bucks then that is still way below dealer invoice. If the A plan spiff is a few thousand bucks then that would certainly make up the difference and then some. So it really depends on the amount of the A plan spiff. I'll ask my salesman next time I see him.
  11. When you use A plan the dealer is selling you the vehicle BELOW THEIR COST. Ford gives them a spiff check to give them some profit but it's still at least $1K - $1500 less than any other normal purchase. The dealer can't "throw something in" - they're already throwing in a several thousand dollar discount.
  12. The public incentives should be the same. If you're eligible for 0% interest or rebates without A plan you should still get those with A plan. You probably won't get anything extra from the dealer like free oil changes but the incentives should be the same or even better in some cases. Just check with another dealer if you're not sure you're getting a straight answer.
  13. If you don't have something to contribute then don't post. Not sure what your game is but we're not playing it.
  14. Mine shows 3.2.2 installed but it doesn't show that any updates are available (for my 2013 Fusion). Anybody seen that before? I'll call for support tomorrow if needed.
  15. Hey now - who are you calling illegitimate?
  16. That's pretty much the figure I remember. It is stupidly easy and cheap to get a license here. And once you get it you almost never get retested unless you allow it to expire or move to another state. I've had a license in GA since I was 16 (and I'll be 50 next week). I took a written test and did a 10 minute drive around the block for my driving test (no parking, never exceeded 30 mph) back then. I have not taken a written test or driving test since. I would like to see a more comprehensive test and actual driver training - not "education" that would be repeated at least every 5 years. So many people don't know basic traffic laws.
  17. Do a master reset. It's recommended after the upgrade to prevent weird behavior.
  18. Wait til you hear how much it costs to get a driver's license.....
  19. Wow. Oil and filter change in the U.S. is anywhere from $20-$30.
  20. Doubtful. I believe that's all integrated into the control modules and not something you can just wire into.
  21. So far it feels rock solid. Haven't found any problems yet.
