In my experience, having them replace the lense or a cover isn't a big deal at all. On the other hand, I don't think that they like to repaint sections on a new car - but they really don't have a choice if it's something you desire. But, can they repaint that section without it being noticeable is another matter.

If you plan on keep the Edge and don't need the cargo management right away, check with some crush yards from time to time. Not that I wish any Edge to end up there :stop:

I drove a Jeep Cherokee for a week and than drove an Edge one week later. I found the Edge just miles and miles better. Of course, a Grand Cherokee and Edge fill different needs, but for the general purpose driver, the Edge is far superior. I think SUVs are doomed. Congrats on the new Edge
