WOW...I feel dumb... I obviously don't know know how to install this file to the root of the USB, because MFT isn't finding it, and its the only thing on a Kingston 4GB USB drive... What am I doing wrong? Every other MFT update has gone on without a hitch.

Are you inserting a DVD into the CD slot in the audio console? That won't work for the obvious reasons... It's a CD player and not a DVD player. If you're putting it into the headrest DVD player, that will only play on the headrests not in the center MFT screen. Pandora works fine for me through Bluetooth with control coming solely from my phone. I heard back when MFT was being introduced that an interface app was being prepared. Ford would have been the first to showcase this type of in car technology. But alas, everyone in the pack has beaten Ford to the punch and there are still no apps for MFT. It's a shame really, because had Ford hired a few good developers or partnered with Apple or Google instead of Microsoft, then we'd be looking at a completely different landscape.

We liked both so we got a "His and Hers" matched set in Platinum White Tri-coat Metallic. They are very different SUV's or CUV's or whatever you'd like to call them. My Sport with 22's feels tight around turns at full speed, The Explorer? Larger, softer, less sporty. Definitely more luxury. Get what you like and feel comfortable in. Either way, you'll be happy with what you choose. They are both wonderful vehicles.

Wow, even with the price of gas flirting with the $4/Gal price tag, im glad I have the 3.7L Sport. My AWD at 13K miles is returning a very respectable 20.9-22 MPG in mixed driving with two hills a day in my commute. Now if the 3.5 Ecoboost was available in the Sport, that wouldve been my choice.

CarPro makes a product called IronX car shampoo. If you wash your car and then use IronX, it will dissolve the micro particles of iron off your paint. this is used as pre cleaner for a product that puts a ceramic nano coating over your paint (Cquartz), but its still very effective for getting rid of those tiny iron particles

Paint that chrome strip. Id like to totally get rid of the Ford Logo completely off that center bar.

Speaking of additives. I wouldn't have believed this if i didn't experience it myself. My friend added just a hair under 2 oz., of pure acetone to his fuel fill up before we took a 128 mile trip in his 2008 Edge limited. We arrive in Atlantic City and our end mileage was 30.8MPG! My last Edge was a 2008 Limited, so I know that the best mileage I ever got on that trip was 24-25MPG by my calculation. I did some reading on this and it seems like lots of people are doing it. Just thought i'd throw it in...

My friends shop is still discussing how the Edge Sport drivetrain might be able to handle the mustang 3.7 l turbo kit that boosts HP by 175. Last we heard, someone from FoMoCo said the AWD could take the power, Although the frame and engine might need additional bracing.

I agree. More so than anything else though, I laughed and have to agree. Ford MFT / SYNC sucks at voice command recognition. Nothing registers. Play song x, play artist x, navigation street address x, nothing. She gets absolutely nothing correct.

My pure google samsung galaxy nexus from Verizon was supposed to work as well, after the new rewrite of MFT installed, I get a message that my phone is not supported. No help from any camp. Who cares.... When I'm driving, I'm enjoying driving.
