A coworker has a CRV. We've driven his car, my Edge and I wouldn't trade. He's said himself that his CRV is way underpowered, and looks wise, not the hippest ride for a 30 something guy. My Edge weighs more but also has the 3.7l engine and were getting the same mileage. I do about 18 miles each way, mostly highway and average 21 with AWD. Take a day and an extended test drive in each. Same route if possible and compare by the seat of your pants and what your gut tells you.

I had the same problem with our 11's 22" wheels. All four tires were losing pressure at different rates. I brought it to the dealer and he said he dismounted, cleaned, and remounted and balanced all the wheels. Three seem fine, one still has a leaking problem. I'll have to mention it when it goes back for other tweaks.

Nice. Now just paint that chrome strip up front to match and that thing will look evil.

I used the DDMTuning kit as well. 55W 5000k 9006 slim digital ballast. Love it. When I got mine in Nov 2010 it was just $45. Seems it went up a little like everything else nowadays, but still a bargain compared to others at nearly twice the price. Ive never had a problem with any of their kits.

I always tell everyone who asks about radar detectors the same thing. They're only useful to tell you when to pull over and collect your ticket. The new laser gun I'm currently testing for our dept. From Digital Ally, has a rifle scope on it! It acquires and reads your speed in 1/3 of a second with one pull of the trigger. They've even gone so far as to equip it with anti Counter counter measure technology. The technology has come leaps and bounds from where old radar guns were. I hope that works for you... They must have NO tolerance down there huh? How'd you get a $5k fine, that's gotta be a great story.

I bought a 9006 kit from DDMTuning for $45 and it fit perfect. All the tabs fit and alignment afterwards was minimal.

I like the mesh type look of the lorenzo.... but you gotta keep them clean or else the whole look is a waste.

Dont forget to keep on top of your tire pressure as well. Deflated tires when its cold out lowers your MPGs as well.

I made a set myself when i first got my Sport. Youll never keep the inner sills of the lower rockers clean and dry, but you will save the leading edges of the lower rockers from abrasive road grit, sand and rocks.

Check part numbers on fordparts.com. with my 2011 Sport, i went and ordered a set of aftermarket 55W HID bulbs w slim digital ballasts. For $45 i have bright properly aimed lights and havent experienced any problems. Check out all your options.

Love my Sport. Love my 22's, my stiff springs, my stiffer steering, for me its a great package. I noticed screws that couldve been hidden, did i lose sleep over them? Nope. Never noticed if there was a gap between the headliner and windshield cause everytime im walking up to my truck im staring at its lines and those big blingy "Hotwheels" wheels.

I used DDMTuning.com They have a 9005 5000K 55W or 35W kit and theyre $45. Ive used these kits for years with no problems ever to speak of. Hell, you can buy three of these kits for the price of 1 of some other brands. They go in easy, you dont have to modify anything, and they have great customer service and tech support if you need it. I would've expected a lot more people jumping on the new Edge the second year it's out, but I think the way Ford dropped the ball plus all the negative press has kept people away. I've spoken with my sales guy and sales manager every time we've had the Edge or Explorer in for re-flashes, complimentary services, or stubborn problems and they said that between the down economy and the problems with the product magnified in the press, they're hurting too. My dealer is loaded with Edges....

I've been surprised at this as well. I thought my MFT system was going to be like an extension of my Android phone. I envisioned a market, all kinds of apps and my cellphone being the modem which would feed the car streaming news, music, and info. I still have a little hope, I guess they have to get the MFT platform stable before they start building on top of it. I hope they don't give up on MFT and it's possibilities.

I have to agree with all the posts above. The only one constantly complaining is akirby. I say do your moderating by making sure the members don't attack each other in stupid ways, watch the language if it gets strong, but geez don't forget were all adults here. And as for the rest of it? If it doesn't apply to you and your 2008 Edge, who cares? Let the thread go where it wants to go. Akirby, in some ways You remind me of the worst of apples fanboys. If you say something anti-apple they turn on you immediately, doesn't even matter if you're complaining about your own apple product even. Sorry I just think you need to back off a little, let the conversations go where they want to go and not take things so personally. I hope that didn't come out sounding mean... It's not supposed to, but with posts and emails and txt messages I know sometimes written words don't translate well. Anyway, I didn't write this post in an angry tone, so I hope it doesn't come across that way.

Rich, ive Seen an MKX a few times that has been done up like a sport had Lincoln ever gone that route. It has blacked out chrome mesh style 22's, all other chrome bits blacked out, and it looks awesome. I really hope I catch this guy speeding so I can pull him over, I'd love to see what he's done inside. Anyway, understated with no chrome looks outrageous in my opinion.

My 2011 Sport AWD is consistently getting 20.4 mpg. My wife's 2011 Explorer FWD with the 3.5 motor is getting a pretty consistent 22.5 - 23.5 mpg. The FWD did awesome in the snow. Wife said no different from driving my Edge.
