I had this problem with my Sport early on, and the MFT was staying on ( original version), woke up one morning and the battery was dead. ford sent a tow truck to jump the battery. It went immediately into service, and when it came out they said the battery is fine, couldn't find a problem.... But, after that dead battery episode, I never had a battery light come on again.

Why not speak to someone at a reputable performance shop and get their opinion?

If you can't find the problem, pull the HIDs and send it to the dealer to get fixed.

Same issue on my 2011 Sport and 2011 Explorer in Platinum White. The bumpers don't match the body. I was told the same thing, that the bumpers were painted someplace else, and they don't always match the factory painted pieces.

Congratulations. Now the waiting game starts, there's lots to read here in the meantime though.

What about the spokes on the wheels? Those to are painted to match in Tuxedo Black. I recently ordered a replacement wheel and it came in gloss black. When I pointed this out and how it would not match my Tuxedo Black wheels, it was returned no questions asked.

Shantz, I love what you did to your Edge. If I were on a tight budget I wouldve done the same and simply purchased the lower front and rear valences from the Sport model.

Hey Matt, Congrats on the new truck. That's kinda cool that your customers kinda sold you on the Edge. Great story, you think Ford would pick up on that simple concept and make it into a 30 second ad.

Buy the Sport front lower valance and have it painted blue.

One thing that's not being talked about here is that the 2.5l 4cyl ecoboost motor thats in R&D is supposed to produce upwards of 330hp. And still net you 30+ mpg

I have 55w 5000 and re-aimed my lamps as soon as i installed the HID bulbs. Never had anyone hi-beam me thinking that my brights were on.

What exactly is covered under that warranty and what is the initial cost? If I dented on of my 22" wheels would Ford cover the cost of a new $1200 rim? If I blow out a tire on a pot hole, will Ford buy me a new $289 Pirelli?

I think youll like the tone of Bassani Exhausts. They have tunes mufflers for the 3.7 l Mustangs and they sound great. Buy the mufflers, and have a local shop change all the pipes over to a slightly larger diameter and youll have a nice tone. Check youtube for bassani exhaust on 3.7 mustang

Ive got to tell you I like the grill all blacked out like a Sport. You don't show it this way (Even top chrome bar blacked out) But a Sport owner actually blacked out the top chrome bar over the headlights and it looks great. Id do the fully blacked out front grill.
