    Spec-X Edge owners seem to be happy with them. $750 or so shipped from Tirerack to give idea of price. No idea on Cooper tires on the Edge.

    Door won't close properly and you will get a warning light on the dashboard. Usually need to get the mechanism replaced. Burnt out ignition coils can be caused by a bad PCM. So if you get a misfire, and trace it to a bad coil, keep an eye out for any other symptoms that can be traced back to the PCM.

    What kit are you using? Did you make any alterations to wiring? Is your headlight switch in the AUTO position or do you turn the lights on manually? For example, I expect the behavior you have described when it is dusk and you remotely unlock the doors. At that time the headlights and rear lights will come on and stay on for a predetermined interval.

    don't forget the door latch issue. you can service the ptu yourself if you are an intrepid mechanic (see the writeup by the_natrix). haven't seen anyone replace the fuel filter yet. transmission fluid, some say you can do the flush yourself, some recommend changing out 5 quarts at a time, at very short intervals to mimic full replacement. spark plug replacement has been written up. tendency for pcm to burn up the coil. upgrades are also documented onsite.

    Yeah, PA has pretty stiff fines for "illegal" tinting, as a member on another forum repeatedly found out. His car is also TX, but he is working in PA.

    Congrats, and hope it works out for you. I am sure you will get just a wee bit better mileage than the Grand Prix. Hopefully they have done the oil change for you, important on turbo'd vehicles.

    Not really a mod, but in support of one for 2011-2013 my. If you had halogens, and you installed HIDs, you may need to adjust your lighting's vertical height. Here is a thread that will help you out: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/6077-2011-hid-vertical-adjuster/

    Yeah, it's a different view from "up there". Be sure to stretch your limbs regularly prior to entering/exiting the Fusion

    As a rule of thumb, if the nail is in the tread area, it can be repaired. If it is in the sidewall area, repair is difficult to impossible. This is because the sidewall flexes so much all the time when in motion.
