    I'll drink to that .....
  2. Pulled this off the Ford website. A QUIET RIDE Acoustic-laminate windshield glass is standard for every model. Edge Sport is equipped with active noise control technology to refine the sound of the 2.7-liter EcoBoost. Sport and Titanium models incorporate acoustic glass on driver and passenger doors. Of course you could always add noise cancellation to your car. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0044DEESS/ref=mp_s_a_1_4_a_it?qid=1466205790&sr=8-4&keywords=ear+plugs
  3. You use the voice button. ☆See page 390 of your owner's manual for details.☆ Remember that Sync's interaction with a cell phone is phone dependent. (Don't know about Apple, but Android was just updated. Best to keep your phone updated with the latest os.)
  4. Here in northern Indiana water spots are usually caused by acid rain (from the steel Mills over new Chicago). The problem with this is, it's so acidic that when the acid rain sets on the windshield and dries, it actually etched the glass. You can see it on the windshield as a residue after the water has dried. If your water spots cannot be removed with window cleaner, it possibly might be etched into the glass. I never found anything, other than buffing with compound, that removes water spot etching.
  5. Actually there is just such a warning in your owners manual about adding speakers and causing interference with the stability control system. Look for the Warning in the stability control part of your owners manual.
  6. See my post in this message for 2017 changes. http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/20399-2017-ford-edge-production-information/?do=findComment&comment=153487
  7. I'm going from memory, had a 2016 MKX loaner couple of weeks ago, tune your first Sirus station, then press and hold one of the channel buttons (on the left side of the radio), until the sound goes off and comes back on.

Think it hit 68° here in Indiana today. !!
  9. Are you getting any codes? (No code checker, take to Auto Zone or simular) and have them read.
  10. Just "one" fan was running. Shouldn't both be running? What caused you to replace the fan assembly in the first place, were neither of them running? Btw, are you testing with the AC turned off? With ac on, both fans should be running.
  11. Ummmm, I wonder what would have happened if you had put you old controller on the new fan assembly? If I remember it was the wiring coming off the controller that had the two wires reversed at the connector. I'll see if I can find the reference.

After a pitcher of afro/soviets, I'd trim your hedge as well. (OK if I use my chainsaw)? 89° at 66% rh = beach or pool weather.

  15. If I remember correctly, someone here in the forum (or in another related forum) found that the wiring connector on the aftermarket fan assy was wired differently. Couple of wires were reversed, and that caused the fans to run continously. Should be able to find which terminals to change in the connector if you Google it.

Prefer vodkas made from rye. (Of course by the second drink it doesn't matter any more .... )
  18. On my 09, they pop out of fasteners near the bottom (grab at the side near the bottom), once it pops loose, slide down the back until it's about 1/3 way down and remove.

I believe that you have to put a drop of dry vermouth on you finger and rub it on the rim to technically call it a "martini" The more olives the better, imo.

excpppppt it also has vodka and "sweet" vermouth. Sort of a combo of a gin martini and a vodka martini. Btw, I use my Lincoln branded coffee travel mug to do the "shaken and not sturred" gig. Makes it taste much better. lol.
  21. Here's a link on someone did it. http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/14629-front-emblem-removal-with-pics/?fromsearch=1 As for the light kit, I have it on my MKX. It shines different colored light in several places, cup holders, footwells, etc. My feeling is I could live without it. It's called "mood lighting" on the MKX. That said, I do like having the lighted cup holders aspect of it. If I remember correctly, some here made their own lighting setup. You could do a search here in this forum for this.
  22. Hi Ben. I've got an 09 MKX and have never head gas sloshing on mine. (Mostly drive with the windows up and that might make a difference). The gas tank was just replaced under recall couple of weeks ago and checked it after my inspection today. The tank is 1/4 full and no sloshing that I can hear. (It's an AWD tank). Is there a difference the Edge and MKX? (Wouldn't think so).

Sitting on the varanda drinking a new drink I invented. Call it a Dirty Martian. Two jiggers of London Dry Gin, 3/4 jigger of Russian Vodka, 1/2 jigger of Martini & Rossi Sweet Vermouth and one jigger of olive juice. Comfortably numb.
  24. Its most likely the fuel tank that you hear sloshing, but... do you have the bamr? Wondering if one of the drains got plugged and letting water accumulate in the channel. It's also been reported that the firewall drains have plugged and water had accumulated. (This was on a different model, don't really know it the Edge has these, but something to think about).
  25. Are your key FOBs OEM or aftermarket? Some of the Chinese junk FOBs are known to not be reliable.
