  1. All Edge Sports have perforated rear seat backs. Look closely above the map pockets. My 2015 has them. Taking my car in next week to have the seats "fixed" ...we'll see if it actually resolves anything.
  2. Edges with HIDs = both low and high beams come from the projector housing = DRL is in the place where the high beam normally is. Edges without HIDs = DRL and low beam come from the same bulb = high beam is separate. No you cannot change this unless you swap your headlights with a vehicle that has HIDs.
  3. Because I'm an idiot and like tinkering with things, I took the grocery getter to Livernois Motorsports in Dearborn, MI for them to install the tune (running their 93 octane aggressive tune at the moment). What an insane difference. SO much fun to drive, really just snaps your neck. There really aren't many words to describe it other than asinine, bonkers, uncalled for, stupid, and s#!*-eating-grin inducing. Installed the +15 horsepower plate frame too.
  4. I have the cupholder rattle. Try jamming a business card between where the top of the cupholder meets the shiny trim. It has (mostly) stopped it for now, but I'll be taking it to the dealer. Regarding the rear rattle - it could be a number of things. Dealer lubricated my hatch and other seals and that seemed to stop it. Best of luck. Rattles can be annoying but remember that they're going to happen in any car.
  5. My 2015 Sport has acoustic glass on the front windows as well, FWIW. Difference between noise in mine and my friends SEL is quite noticeable. Blocks out the noise from the mirrors in the wind and cars passing by.
  6. The DRLs on all Edges are halogen. Not sure I exactly understand your question, so I'll just explain. SE, SEL, base Titanium: all halogen headlights with the DRL being the projector beam (set on a lower intensity than the low beam). The high beam on these models is located where the DRL is on the Sport and upper level Titaniums. An LED DRL swap is not possible on these models unless you plan to have an LED low beam as well, which as mentioned, is a TERRIBLE idea. I had them in my Fusion and it was awful. Sport and upper level Titanium: bi-xenon projector HIDs with the DRL in the inner portion of the light where the high beam is on other models. An H15 LED DRL swap is possible and takes all of 5 minutes at most.
  7. Yeah, that factors into it for sure. I feel the wheels have an influence too though - the 21s have very little tire sidewall compared to the rest of the Edge models.
  8. I have the 21s, a friend has an SEL with 18s and the difference is pretty noticeable, in my opinion. I love the look of my wheels but they are very choppy and stiff over bumps in the pavement.
  9. Yes, it usually goes away on its own after restarting. I've always assumed it just meant there was debris on the sensors. It's almost always with the side sensors. Also, FWIW, these are the parking sensors. If you tell your dealer its the collision avoidance system, they'll think it's the red light and alarm on the dash (if you have adaptive cruise with forward collision warning) that's going off.
  10. System means the entire remote start system. As in, you can choose if you want it enabled or not.
  11. For what it's worth, the dealer replaced my radiator fan and the noise is now gone.
  12. I've always wondered, how easy is it to install the tune? I'm an idiot and am afraid I'd mess something up. Can someone explain the process with the LMS tune?
  13. Looks good! I like the headlight idea.
  14. They should be. Not sure why it says not compatible.
  15. Anyone have issues with this feature? Half the time, it backs me into a space perfectly. The rest the time, it parks within INCHES of the car next to me, then smugly chimes and tells me its job is done. As in, so close to the car next to me that I would not be able to open the door at all. Just wonder what the issue is. I've also yet to determine if the system tries to center the car in the lines or just between the cars on either side. At any rate, it's a quirky system. The regular parallel park assist works great, however.
  16. Interesting. I came from a 14 Fusion Titanium and had test drove an MKZ. Found the difference to not be worth it. MKX must've stepped up the game quite a bit.
  17. I've been wanting to test drive one, but am afraid I'll suddenly not like my Edge as much. Sat in one at the auto show. So comfortable. The 360 cam is awesome too.
  18. There are plenty around here! Keep up the great work. Love my LED puddle lights.
  19. Wish I lived closer. Fly to Grand Rapids, MI and you've got a volunteer.
  20. Gorgeous! I love the color - yes you made the right choice. Murano wasn't even on my radar.
  21. I'm not aware there's any way to adjust the volume of it, nor do I think a dealer would have the tools to do so. Maybe I'm weird but I actually really like Ford's turn signal sound. It's different and not as "clicky" as other manufacturers.
  22. Your dealer sounds incompetent. Let me know how the screeching noise is resolved. I have that one too.
