BAFX Products Bluetooth Diagnostic OBDII Reader/Scanner for Android Devices

That's not going to work with the Foscam full Windows version which is the only version capable of writing changes.

I bought these ones from Amazon:

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HYVT2R4/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

They worked for about 6 months, but then the white started to flicker.  Turns out there wasn't quite enough voltage to them.  There was only about 9 volts going to them which was just under the limit to keep them operating properly.  This seems to be a common problem.  I was going to try fixing it, but decided it wasn't worth the trouble, although I really liked the look.

Thanks for the feedback, and based on that I'll not bother with switchbacks for my front turn signals.

The 2015-2018 Edge uses WY21W bulbs for the front signals, they are the same as 7440NA. The 2015 Mustang uses 7444NA, it seems that physically they fit, but they may or may not work. One main difference is that 7440 is a single filament bulb, park & signal are achieved by changing the light output intensity (not sure how, probably varying voltage). 7444 has dual filaments. This site claims that LED 7443 can replace 7440, if true then you can use the Mustangs LED bulb. Better check with the seller.

It looks like the 7440 switchbacks have a separate wire to power the white LED's while the turn signals are not on - I'm not too keen on that arrangement, and not sure that it will actually work on the Edge due to the low voltage/intensity when the turn signal is not on.

I agree. Which is why I posted the question of which tuners people prefer and why. I searched and searched and.........

I also wanted to start a poll to see which tuner was more popular etc, there simply was not a clear cut way to do so.

Umm - that's the exact same one I just posted and I did find it doing a simple search for "switchback turn signal".

Yes, and now its working for me on that thread title, which was not the case previously, and not only this particular search - see the above post by @onyxbfly

There is no thread by that title and no similar thread started by roots57.   The only one close is this one which you already replied to:

That's the only topic and post by roots57 that I could find.   How do you "know" that topic exists?

This is the tread that I was looking for, which the search function didn't help find, ........ searching many pages of roots57 posts is how I found it.

    That's not a thread, it's a photo album.

Yes, I realized that - maybe I wasn't too clear that I'm searching for the thread of that title, which does exist but the search feature is unable to find.

Added switchback front LED turn signals to my 2016. Disabled the hyperflash with FORScan instead of adding the resistors. The switchback 7440 LEDs I got came with the 6 ohm resistors, but as soon as I felt how hot they get, I cut them off and re-programmed the BCM instead. It was actually pretty easy to do. Heres what it looks like in the daytime.

Where did you buy the switchback LED's ?

  8. All my old bookmarks for this forum no longer work, just takes you to the home page.

Search function is useless, and because of the URL changes causing the above problem, Google search results also take you to the wrong URL.

I put it on YouTube this forum won’t let me post it because it’s to many mb. It’s a loud ticking sound coming from the front passenger side after cold start. It’s under Jeremy Piper

No such video comes up in a search - what's the title?

Any chance of responding to the questions previously posted?

Issue is during start up there’s a loud ticking sound that comes from the front passenger side. Is it normal?

    Unlikely that its normal.

    What engine?

    What's the mileage?

What's the service history, when last was the oil and oil filter changed?

What oil and oil filter have you been using?

If not OEM oil filter it might not have an anti-runback valve.

Any sign of sludge when viewing into the oil fill cap?

It could be an oil pressure problem causing the valve lifters to make a noise.

Thanks. I'm embarrassed to ask, but what is the component in the photo, and where is it located?

BTW, according to the paperwork from Ford, the fault code for my issue is P188B.

I'm not sure which item/component you're referring to.

Bear in mind that I didn't check for error codes seeing as I knew exactly what the cause was - check @WWWPerfA_ZN0W for the likely cause of your error code.

  12. Do you have water trapped in front signature lights?

Last year my passenger side signature light was replaced under warranty because it had water trapped in the lens, now my drivers side has the same issue.

The passenger side is still good.

I'm at 33K miles and 21 months, so intend get it to my dealership to start the process of replacement, but just wondered if others are experiencing this.
