  1. Yea, that was the first part I added. Mostly to protect hood paint from heat. They left off engine cover as well, but I like seeing the engine so I can notice possible issues and make sure no critters hiding inside. They love making beds under those nice warm pretty engine covers
  2. " 2021 Edges built on or before the third week of May, 2021 were fitted with Rear Center Bumper Cover Shields. 2021 Edges built on or after the fourth week of May, 2021 and all 2022 Edges were not fitted with Rear Center Bumper Cover Shields" Amazing research. Checked mine, shield in place. Manufactured March 2021. Bought in Dec. I guess that's why the dealer gave me a deal, had it too long. Small town, guess he doesn't sell many STs.
  3. According to manual, tire pressure is not read accurately until car is on and moving for a few minutes, meaning tires must be turning. A spare never turns while in storage. So even if you could register a fifth wheel, the 5th would never respond accurately. They sell tpms kits to add to cars, motorcycles, golf carts, rvs.... Most read accurately without movement. I was suggesting you may want to buy one of these after market addons, such as a MC since only 2 tires, put one of the sensors on the spare, and the portable screen/ reader could be kept anywhere in your car and you use it to check spare.
  4. Very doubtful, also the tries need to be rotating for a few minutes to get accurate reading. You'd be better off with a second set bought off Amazon with it's own system. These are generally sold for motorcycles up to RVs, trucks, ect...
  5. 2021, ST, nothing flaps. Trailer tail light hookup wasn't seated in holder and dangling, but took 5 seconds to put back in place. Take it in, tell the to correct. If they refuse, contact Ford Customer Svc. I am assuming Ford option, not after market add on.
  6. My 2021 has been flawless. Only wish they left manual controls for seat heater and air conditioner. Using screen while moving can sometimes be a little tricky as you should be watching road not screen. Still trying to use voice to set controls, but sometimes not recognized properly. You know you can add a wireless backup camera right? Many options for where to put screen.
  7. I have used one of these too, pretty good. Only issue I had was it sticking out of bottom sometimes made it Rocky on my bed side wireless charger and big bumps in car sometimes caused disconnect. Magnets pretty strong though and much better than wireless pad. PS forgot, if you use a phone case, you may have to modify the charger opening to accommodate

    ST Overheating

Makes much more sense. Let them have it, consider an extended warranty. Search this forum, you'll see some Ford discounts, dealer might match. PennFed has great rates for powertrain coverage, plan to buy one just before I hit 1 year ownership.
  9. Uhaul. One stop shop with tremendous guarantee on their install.

    ST Overheating

I haven't . . Love the car. 2021 ST. PS they want it back??? Never heard of this on a used car. I have seen them send techs and engineer to inspect, tear down at dealer site, had this on vette i bought that wouldn't shift correctly. Are they buying it back from you or properly compensating you?
  11. Couple of years ago rented a Ford Fusion. Got hit by a deer on front left side of car. Was driveable to get replacement. On the way to get replacement the air conditioner gave out, (compressor), and the bill my insurer got was over $5k. And thats' before today's inflation. Be careful. Best guess seller wants to keep insurance cash and stick someone else with the bills. They always find more once they start repairing.
  12. Sticks how? Door frame, latch... If latch try silicone spray, if plastic door, may be out of alignment, or if you are in very hot climate may have warped. I'm assuming sticks with nothing in it, so not over weight or oversized objects.
  13. This is a problem with all modern smartphones and most wireless chargers. They will charge some if phone screen off and nothing running. But turn on wireless AA or Carplay, use GPS and let some tunes flow... And you're using more power than the charger puts out. Some of these new phones pull almost Same amps as a small tablet. In my opinion they are only good for bedside, desk charging or a passenger phone not being used. Only fix is plug in a cord. If your phone is actually moving or vibrating off charging plate, get a thinner tackier/rubberized phone case. Clean the pad too, it may have some oils on it.
  14. Ford must be on it. Got another update yesterday. Details page not coming up for me, but guessing it was some bugs such as camera. I don't have 360 so unsure. If available on your car, highly recommend adding your home wifi if it reaches garage, seems to help me get updates quickly.
  15. Yep. Works perfect on my 2021, and I've had to use it several times. New cars are just like computers and smartphones, need to reboot every now and then. Turning car off does not reset apim
  16. Remember radio power button simultaneously with fast forward button for 10-15 seconds is your friend. It soft resets apim on lock ups, glitches, recent updates ...
  17. I would give it a few days and see what happens. It is probably a server side issue. Then you could do a factory reset if not working, and it should come back up. By any chance do you live in an area of limited cell service or have you set up connection to your house wifi if it reaches garage? This could help if it needs to download data or update. I just got a letter on a recall or bad back up camera screen and my car auto updated it without a visit to dealer
  18. 2021 Ford Edge ST. pixel Pro 6 with Android Auto. Both current updates. Whether I use wifi or USB to connect AA, I get random disconnects and sometimes need to reboot phone. Happens more frequently on longer rides. Anyone else? Anyone find an answer? Worked fine with same cables on my last car with AA and my wife's Toyota.
  19. Or sell to Carvana and let them deal with it after tsb
  20. Are you saying you use the app on the phone and play through car? You are not using the car to play the source? Not that it may make a difference, but are you using Bluetooth, or are you mirroring (Android Auto or Car Play). If you are saying the phone app plays some stations correctly, but not all, sounds like an app issue. Try another app such as npr podcast or heart radio, see if behaves same way. If it does, not the app. Then try mirroring, or the built in player in the car. You have a free 30 subscription.
  21. Heard the new plus model keeps bugs off your car....
  22. Maybe try Carplay? See if it works there. If so, Motorola is now making a wireless adapter for AA/CarPlay so you don't need to plug phone in every time. I've gotten so use to AA I almost never use Edge NAV (which is pretty good) and now my texts work again and I can simply ask the phone to play stations, send listen to texts, navigate, check calendar for apts, weather....
  23. It's so new, why not just take it in under warranty?
  24. Test drove both as 2021 models before buying. Nautilus was a very nice luxury package and expected to love it but I found: Ride was just OK, a little soft and didn't feel as nimble. Felt heavier and wasn't as level going through turns Dash was higher drivers side and had less visability. Thought was due to HUD, but they said same all models. Although I liked 4 cylinder turbo (torquey, quiet, good mpg) in our Titanium, with all the troubles with it wouldn't touch it again, and wanted to be able to tow sometimes. ST has higher, but not much, tow rating. Hard to find the Nautilus in mid priced package with a factory tow package Seats, for me, were more comfortable on ST Price as driven, $20k more than ST, plus forced dealer addons. Think this was due to different pricing on packages plus higher base price Good looking Lincoln though.
  25. My old 2015 did this, kind of. From time of ownership, at about 45-55mph, when it wasn't under steady speed or acceleration, it would kick or buck sometimes when let off accelerator or slightly added. Dealer kept telling me waiting on a software update. At about 45k found a new dealer, they couldn't believe a kept driving it, diagnosed bad torque converter and replaced it and had to rebuild tranny. Fixed the issue.
