  1. Get my new ST this weekend and already have a few things waiting to be installed and things to do in the first few days: JLT Oil Catch Can AEM Air Filter Black Licence Plate Frame Debadge the Back Plasti-Dip Ford Emblems
  2. Just got an email from my dealer, my ST is finally in and ready for pickup tomorrow! I'll probably end up picking it up this weekend unfortunately, pretty busy over the next few days. The wait is going to kill me.
  3. I suspect this is due to you having an early build date, there were many reports about the transmission acting up and not shifting properly when the media was driving them, and Ford themselves said that they were still working on transmission tuning and it was not where they wanted it to be yet. I would recommend going to the dealer and asking for a software update and see if that resolves the issue.
  4. Glad to see someone is already making a Cat Back system for the ST! Let's hope this is a sign of things to come and more parts start becoming available, it was depressing trying to find things for the Edge Sport.
  5. Just purchased a JLT Catch Can for my newly arriving ST. I assume it will fit exactly the same as the 2015-2018 Edge Sport since it's exactly the same engine - will post an update once installed in a couple of weeks.
  6. Mine still doesn't show up on the Vehicle Order Tracking site, but the Window Sticker is still available. Original build date was supposed to be Dec 31st, but I have no way of verifying that unless I go through the dealer all the time. Do Canadian orders show up on the order tracking site? There is no equivalent that I can find on the ford.ca website unfortunately.
  7. Finally got my Window Sticker to show up today, but still nothing shows up on the Vehicle Tracking Site. The Dealer quoted me a build date of Dec 31st, but the Window Sticker has Dec 19th as the date on the bottom, is that the build date?
  8. Good to know, thanks! I will very likely be purchasing a tuner shortly after my ST arrives in January, and will definitely be looking for some basic mods like a CAI to go with it as well. There are hardly any parts available for the Edge Sport and I really hope that changes with the ST! Thanks again.
  9. Thanks for providing that information! Much better to hear it from the source than to guess and assume. Do you know if Livernois plans to do other mods for the Edge ST, like a proper CAI for example? Thanks!
  10. For Reference, here are the two graphs that are provided on the product page of their website Edge Sport Edge ST
  11. They also stated on their YouTube page that this is just their first attempt: "And this is just version 1. As with all of our timing things will get better with time as well!" I think that 2016 tune graph was not to a stock car, and was definitely not using the first tune available for the car.
  12. I am curious if the reported shifting sluggishness has been improved with this tune. It does mention the following; This tune is good for peak vs. peak gains of over 28WHP and 25WTQ, with maximum gains of over 59WHP and 59WTQ! In addition to these performance enhancements, we also spent a great deal of time improving throttle response, part throttle shifting, and working to ensure our updates play well in all 3 driving modes. Coupled with the performance upgrade, these drivability changes make the truck feel greatly improved in day to day usage.
  13. Car and Driver has put up a new Review of the Edge ST complete with some test results: https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/2019-ford-edge-st-performance At the test track, the ST ran to 60 mph in 5.7 seconds and covered the quarter-mile in 14.3 at 98 mph, which is reasonably quick for a 4597-pound SUV that moves on waves of easy-going torque—that is, until you realize a 2015 Edge Sport we tested hit the same marks in 5.6 and 14.2 seconds (with the same trap speed), thanks in part to weighing some 160 pounds less. Body motions are nicely controlled during spirited drives down twisty, challenging roads, with brake-based torque vectoring aiding the ST's agility (there’s no rear torque vectoring). Ride quality is commendably smooth even on the optional 21-inch wheels (20s are standard). While Ford Performance has tuned the ST's steering effort slightly to the heavy side, the action is reasonably quick and enriched with some feedback. Chalk up most of our ST's respectable lateral grip (0.89 g) and 161-foot stop from 70 mph braking ability to the sticky P Zeroes; the previous Sport, shod with similarly sized 21-inch all seasons, managed only 0.83 g and a 176-foot stop.
  14. Finally got my VIN and a build date of Dec 31st from an order date in July. Sucks that Canadians get pushed out, but at least I have a date now. My VIN doesn't show anything under this tool - https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking#/. Is there no other way to use the VIN to look up build/ship dates anymore?
  15. I ordered mine on JULY 10th and STILL do not have a VIN/Build Date. Canadian Order though. A bit disappointing as I don't have another vehicle right now.
  16. Attaching the Canadian Order Guide, for reference. order guide 2019 edge.pdf
  17. We knew all of this months ago when the order and pricing guides were released. The biggest piss off to me is the fact that we don't get the Performance Brakes package, period. If it was the summer tires that were an issue for Canada, simply offer the rest of the package with All Seasons instead.
  18. Yeah I wonder that as well, even before the Edge ST was announced the 2015 sport was always noted as being noticeably faster than 2016/2017. I have no idea why.
  19. "The Edge ST hit 60 mph in 6.1 seconds on 91 octane, just one-tenth of a second quicker than a 2016 Edge Sport running on 87 octane and four-tenths of a second slower than a 2015 Edge Sport drinking premium gas." Definitely sounds like the transmission tuning needs work.
  20. Is this something that can be updated after the fact by a Ford Dealership?
  21. Ordered mine July 10th and I confirmed today that it still has not been assigned a build date or VIN.... I'm in Canada, but still should have a VIN and build date by now I think?
  22. A lot of the reviews I read said that it was a good car, but didn't fit the ST badge since they are comparing it to the Fiesta and Focus. It seems to me that if this was still called an Edge Sport they wouldn't have much to complain about. Regarding the transmission, which was really the only thing that reviewers did consistently pick at, Ford already mentioned they are working on the software/tuning and it's not where they want it to be yet. Maybe that's why vehicles are getting delayed as they fix the transmission tuning?
  23. Yeah I'm curious if that could possibly come as a software update from the dealer later on, or is he speaking more about the 2020/2021 models?
  24. There's a new Interview with a Ford Performance Engineer that touches on this; Is there something you wish could have been part of the car but for whatever reason didn't make it? I'll tell you the item, the single specific attribute, that we'll continue to improve is the transmission software. We have a new eight-speed transmission, fundamentally very capable. Our target is DCT-like shift speeds. We're not quite there yet. We will see, we know how to do it, and we will get there over time with additional software. https://www.motortrend.com/news/interview-ford-performance-engineer-on-2019-ford-edge-st/
  25. Still waiting for a build date on mine, ordered July 10th.
