  1. From the Manual; The system only works with the lighting control in the autolamp position. You can switch this feature on or off in the information display. Note: There is a delay of two to five seconds before the system operates when you drive your vehicle. Note: The system is only active at speeds above 3 mph (5 km/h). System Check The system has a power-up movement check feature. When you start your vehicle, the lamps track left to right, then back to center to alert the driver that the system is working properly.
  2. It looks like it's disabled in software, because there is supposed to be a setting for it in the menu to the left of the speedometer, but it's not there.
  3. Good color choice, welcome!
  4. This seems like a good place to start, given the timing. Found some information on the code: OBD II fault code P1260 is a manufacturer specific code that is defined by carmaker Ford as “THEFT Detected- Vehicle Immobilized”, and is set when the PCM (Powertrain Control Module) detects a violation of the PATS (Passive Anti-theft System) security protocols, which has disabled the engine. On Ford applications, the PATS system communicates with the PCM via the instrument cluster, and depending on the signals received from the instrument cluster, the PCM will either disable the engine, or allow the engine to start and run normally. Provided the instrument cluster receives a signal from a PATS-enabled key within one second after starting, the PCM will determine that a theft condition does not exist, and it will therefore allow the engine to continue running. It should be noted that code P1260 could be set by conditions other than actual theft conditions. For instance, low battery voltages, incorrectly performed jump-starts, or even simple battery replacements can all cause this code. Other common causes of code P1260 could also include the following: Corrupted software in either (or both) the PCM and instrument cluster Defective PATS control module Use of non-PATS enable ignition keys Use of damaged ignition smart keys Defects in the PCM power supply circuits and/or relay Shorted or interrupted VREF (reference voltage) Loss of power or ground in the PCM power supply circuit(s) Previous or unresolved theft condition Failed or failing PCM
  5. Good news! Mine appears to shift alright, build date was December 19th 2018. I wonder if the TSB would improve it further or if I have the same software already. I've only got 600km on it so I'm still breaking it in, haven't had a chance to floor it or drive it too hard yet and really see how it shifts under load.
  6. Every car has a reserve, but I would guess the amount varies on the car. Unless your fuel gauge is wrong, you're never actually empty at empty.
  7. I think this would be complete overkill, I'm running the JLT only and I'm happy with the results so far.
  8. Yep, that's them! You can see the rim protector lip that sticks out near the edge of the wheel.
  9. The 21" ST tires without the Brake Package (in Canada) also come with Rim Protection. They are Continental CrossContact LX Sport.
  10. Pretty happy with mine, the only real thing that I've noticed is the glove box does not open smoothly, seems like it gets caught on something halfway down but it does open and close so not a huge concern right now. I'll get the dealer to fix it next time I go in. Haven't noticed any paint issues but I haven't examined it too closely yet. Once I wash it I'll take a closer look at panel gaps and see if there are any other issues.
  11. https://forscan.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3218 This seems to work for a variety of Ford vehicles.
  12. Looks good! I'll be getting one from you in a month or two, can't wait! ?. Any idea when an updated tune will be available, or if you have plans to offer any other parts for the ST? Thanks!
  13. Thanks, I'l look into it. I assume it's the same on the ST and I'll have to cut the mounts off too. I think the vertically stacked quad tips could look good on the ST, maybe I'll try and photoshop something and see how it looks first.
  14. I'll test it out next time I park. I definitely notice a lurch when I put it into park, shut off the engine, and then release the brake (expected), but I typically only using Parking Brake on hills so I'll try that out.
  15. Looks good! I never liked the look of the Edge Sport / Edge ST exhaust and wish we had something like the Titanium instead. Before my Edge Sport was smashed into I was going to add quad exhaust tips as well, but now the ST has a different vertical shape and I'll have to see how that would look. Do you simply remove the Chrome piece from the rear and hook up tips to the factory exhaust? Is the Chrome piece easy to remove, and can you put it back on after if needed?
  16. I previously got a black metal ford emblem for the back of my Edge Sport, it was an "F-150" emblem but they are exactly the same. Just measure the one on your car and make sure the dimensions match. Mine came with a 3M adhesive back since it was a metal replacement, but I'm not sure about the stock fastening system if that is shared with the F-150 etc.
  17. That is strange - From reading the manual there should be a setting to turn the Adaptive LEDs On/Off. I will check to see if I have this option and if mine move on startup, but I somehow think they won't.
  18. I have those on mine, which is also Canadian spec. Can any other US owners see if theirs has the bottom row of LEDs shown above?
  19. I know Canada now recently allows the use of adaptive headlights, but we didn't used to. As far as I know it's not allowed in the US right now, but the Canadian manual does state that we have Adaptive headlights. Maybe FORSCAN can enable if its just disabled for some reason?
  20. I just got a brand new 2019 ST and am in the process of breaking it in. I think I'll replace the oil at around 1000km (620 miles) with full synthetic and go to a regular oil change schedule from there.

    Aerotekk Design

The Aerotekk ones are so subtle and small I doubt many people would even notice. I agree they need better pictures as well. As for the RDX design, not really a fan of how that looks but maybe it would look better on an actual US spec Edge Sport.
  22. I didn't notice anything, but I haven't actually verified properly yet. I'll have a look next time I start it.
  23. As the title states, I am the proud new owner of a 2019 Ford Edge ST! I originally had a 2017 Edge Sport that was written off 6 weeks after I bought it. Another driver smashed into the back of it while it was parked on a side street and thankfully caused enough damage to write it off, instead of me having a brand new Edge with $20k+ in damage. I placed the order for the ST back in July 2018 and it finally got here last week. I got it in Agate Black with the 401A Package, Cold Weather Package and 21" Wheel upgrade, but sadly Canada does not have the option to get the Performance Brake package. So far I have done the following to it: Installed JLT Oil Catch Can Installed AEM Air Filter Removed Rear 'Edge' and 'ST' emblems (debadged) Plasti-Dipped the front Ford emblem Added Black Licence Plate frames I will be adding a Dash Cam and Radar Detector soon, and will be blacking out the rear ford emblem too. Eventually I will be looking to get a tune and some other breathing mods once they become available, such as exhaust, CAI and maybe downpipe. Attached some preliminary pictures below.
  24. I was just looking for this button the other day, and assumed I just couldn't find it. Do they not have power folding mirrors? Seems odd I agree.
