Yeah, my car is gray so it wouldnt be "murdered". I just think the extra chrome pieces cheapen the look of the car. The black accents are a subtle compliments to the car whiile the chrome with shouts "hey look at me!". I prefer to keep it simple.

hmmm, im trying to get rid of all teh chrome except the wheels and others want to add it? Different strokes I guess. I wish the window trim was easy to swap.

That's doable as long as you dont plan on using a ipod for other occasions. Personally I use mine in the gym all the time so a flash drive just wont cut it for me.

In my case the thump is VERY noticeable on inclines. Take your service tech for a ride in some "hilly" roads and he'll be sure to hear it. Acceleration from a stop on a hill will certainly lead to a thump.

Is it just me or does teheEdge externally look basically unchanged except for front end and wheels?

You don't have the only Sport in the country. There are MANY of them at every dealer so whomever told you that is misinformed or lying.

^Agreed The Konig Lace is ugly and cheap. Why would you sell your Sport wheels and buy something worse?

Steel wool? Ouch! My suggestion is Goo-Gone and some elbow grease. Took me some time to get them all clean but they look perfect now.

I'm pretty sure there is a TSB on this as I just spoke with my service rep earlier today and he mentioned a TSB for the Vista.

Might be the seat belt rattling against the side panels. Don't give up on your car just because of one little issue. Every car will have an issue or two no matter who manufactures it.

I think I'd like it more if the bars were black instead of chrome. I'm going to even look into replacing my chrome molding with the SEL's black molding.

Just got off the phone with my Service Rep and this is related to the PTU. Like Wolfie said this only involves Edge's made within a certain time frame so make sure you have your VIN number handy when calling in to check.

You can buy a primered one which I believe would be flat black. I was looking into doing the same. Part # 9T4Z-8200-AA Cost should be the same as the painted ones. Be sure to post pics if you decide to go this route.

The brake glind is normal. There are numerious posts about this on the forum. I was told by a Ford mechinic that this was because of the rotor material used by Ford. Everyone who drives an Edge has the same issue. Not a big deal as far as im concerned. I have a 2010 Edge Limited AWD that I purchased in December and have had no issues.

I'm sure if you search the web you can find an answer to when pricing will be available. As far as the roof I find it odd you would opt for an aftermart unit when speaking in terms of reliability. Don't you think a production unit made for a vehicle will be more reliable than a universal sunroof? Kind of a no brainer for me. I love teh Vista Roof and havent had any issues.
