Good day, I want to change the battery in my 2010 Edge. Part of the battery is under the front cowl. In order to remove the battery will I need to remove or move the lid of the air box which looks to be in the way to slide and lift the battery out. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I have owned cars with A/C since 1983 and never had an issue with moldie smells. What I do before shutting the car off, would probably work with the engine off, I raise the temp to high heat and let it run for a minute with the A/C still on, I think this will also work with the A/C off. This dries out the condensor etc. so no mold will grow.

For the cost of replacing one wheel and a bit more why not go aftermarket on all 4 corners or try the recylers

How does it drive, straight? brake, looks like you did some welding? are you going to sell it or?

Congrats on your Edge, don't like the wheels, I am more of a chrome guy, your wheels draws me away from the total look of the car, but thats just me, as for the matte black, the Edge is not a resto rod, custom hot rod, rat rod etc. that you might see a vintage car shows, Barrette Jackson.... would not add any appeal to the over all look.

Maybe better MPG with the eco boost but turbos require high maintenance $$$ and can be expensive to repair if or when they fail after the warranty runs out. Just me but not a fan...just sayin...

8.7L/100KM is about 33MPG......thats imperial gallons not U.S. gallons. it would be about 27MPG in U.S. gallons.

What product are they using for the soundguard? what areas are they using it in? The rustguard might be the same as the soundguard? Paintguard- not sure if any paint guard will make your car look the same 7 years from now. I never buy any dealer up sells as it can be bought cheaper at different detail shops etc.

Your 8.9L/100KM is about 31MPG Imperial gallons, I did a Florida trip from Toronto and was getting in the mid 30MPG, all highway, at fill up info said I could get 800Kilometers on the tank if I stay at the highway speeds I was doing, not bad for a car full of luggage, driver and passenger. 2010 FWD,

I have the WT and the only thing I dislike is they don't cover the dead peddle area, Does the Huskys?..... I brought this up with WT but not sure they are listening or care?, the other thing I don't like is the price. other than the 2 short falls WT do a great job.

Megellan GPS 7" There are some makes that have voice control, I think? some with free map and traffic updates, does Ford offer free maps and traffic updates? only disadvantage is the windshield suction mount, but there are mounts for the vents which would be better than the suction cup. All for a large lower price than what Ford charges.

If you are asking what we or me think of the wheels-rims I can't say they look good, what are the tires elastic bands? the ride must be awful. Hit one big pot hole and a bent rim might occur. Just my opinion, its your vehicle. Enjoy...and no flaming please...
