wannabang
Would I have the same wiring issues if I were to get these as I would if I would have just swapped out mine for the stock second gen tails?

jmacd27
How did you find out about these? I don't see them on their web site. Ā Ā Previous customers were given the first chance to order these. Mine just cleared customs, so hopefully I have them tomorrow. Ā There is a slick video of them below. bornfree
I was rocking to the music. Was that a black cat that walked by? Eeek! Regardless, the lights look tight. Edited September 30, 2013 by bornfree
ls973800
Dan, another dozen times or so of backing up, and you might actually be able to hit just the driveway instead of the corners and the grass! Ā Seriously, nice looking lights. The brake lights don't look very red. Is it just the video or is there some amber in there also?

kc300c
Yep, the tails are available to order now by sending me an email at info@daytimebrightlites.com. Ā As for the observations about the black cat and running over the corners of my neighbor's yard in my video, I never noticed the black cat was even in it. Very funny. Ā Now to Is's comment about the the neighbor's yard. As with my golf game, I tend to use the entire course. However, if you pay close attention to the video, I am hitting the apex in the turn perfectly!
kc300c
Would I have the same wiring issues if I were to get these as I would if I would have just swapped out mine for the stock second gen tails? I'm investigating a way to adapt the wiring of the new LED taillights (2011-2014) to the 08-10 Edge. Ā If I send you an LED tail, would you be willing to help me with coming with the wiring configuration? The amber turn signal portion of the tail would no longer function. The turn signal function would use the brake light LEDs. I'm going to shoot you a PM as well.
Dingo
It would be fairly easy to make them function as intended.
wannabang
Sure. Wire from third brake light to tails' brake lights. Wire from current tail to the new turn signals. That'd be my first test, yeah?
Dingo
No. Third brake light to relay to brake lights. Front blinkers tapped in kick panel and run to back with relays.
