I didn't check everything (rush purchase) and it seems like it does not have them. We do have the co-pilot360 option pack with auto dimming headlights and lane cantering and radar cruise, so I assume the sensors/wiring are there. Can I enable this in Forscan or do I need to add any additional sensors or just replace the wiper stalk? Anyone ever tried this? Could you post a photo of the windshield looking from the outside directly in front of the rearview mirror - that would confirm if you have the sensor. If it doesn't have the rain sensor you'd probably need and new windshield, the sensor and possibly other electronics. My wife has it at work right now, but I'll get a picture for you later today. She had auto wipers on her older Mazda (09) and loved them as she hates driving in the rain. I'm really hoping to be able to get these working on the new Edge as it seems wild it doesn't have them. Maybe she just doesn't know how they work. Well that's unfortunate. Wonder how hard it would be to add them? I guess the windshield would be the biggest issue assuming it doesn't have the spot for the sensor. On a rain sensing windshield that spot is just clear glass? Also, I don't see any wiring to it. Yes, the rain sensor needs a clear spot. I don't think it will be easy to remove the coating in this area. 1004ron Posted 11 hours ago Report Share Posted 11 hours ago Wow, that's more work than I'd be willing to do for that feature - turning off for me using the screen would also be an issue. I most often forget to turn it off when approaching the car was and their spray triggers the wipers and I have to scramble to turn the rain sensing off. My wife's BMW X5 is smarter - it turns off when the ignition is turned off and when you need it again with the first few rain drops you tap the button on the end of the stalk.
