Believe he did. Only came up with
P0113 > Intake air temp. #1 circuit high
P25B0 > Fuel level sensor "A" stuck or has a malfunction.
My first reaction was weak battery or defective BCM. But he didn't find any codes.
Reason I suspected possible unplugged cluster is that it happened after getting car back from mechanic.
....Not that a mechanic would ever deliberately do anything underhanded. (grunt)
.
I couldn't buy a replacement amplifier (they are back-ordered) but did find a used one I purchased: it didn't make any difference.
Good thing for me that I've suspended the Sirius/XM subscription for now. Unhappy thing is that I can't really listen to any audio.
In SouthEast Florida; any suggested techs or Ford shops specializing in electronics/ audio (I'd like to keep it factory equipment).
Yes, my car is without unfortunatelly. I did this modification on Focus MK3,5, it is quite simple but wiring is needed.
It seems that wiring is same as on Smax or Mondeo MK5.
Hello, do you have wiring diagram for Blind spot detection system? I have EU Edge 2017.
Part numbers for brackets and radars appreciated as well.
Thank you
Edit:
Most probably these part numbers:
Radar: FT4T14D453AD
or JR3T14D453CA (newer version, from 2017, according to the some discussion about Mondeo MKV more precise)
Bracket: FT4T14D189A
Rats / Mice are known for eating through the wiring insulation. Very common if the insulation is soy-based, a method of going " green " by replacing an oil-based product with a natural-based product.
Without a picture, and without looking myself, are you referring to the plastic plugs / buttons manufactures typically use to hold panels in place? I believe you are.
Couple of places you can get them:
1. Ford dealer
2. Local hardware, Home Depot, Lowes, etc. My local hardware stores have them. Just bring the old one with you so you can match the right size / style to the on you need.
3. Amazon has a number of kits with different types of these plugs / buttons you can buy for relatively little money, like $13 for 190 pieces
If I end up going for this repair and the car has lasted that long trouble free - I would do the sprockets too. The labor involved in taking the front of the motor apart would almost make skipping that step silly I think.
