  1. The price difference is not bad. I called my dealer where I got my Sport from, but they were clueless about the ST and ordering one. I'll probably wait until they're on the lot to see what kind of deal I can get. We have the Sport as the benchmark, and it will be interesting to see how it compares to the ST once the reviews start coming in.
  2. My issue with Edge ST is that you said it could cost thousands more, and we cannot see were the thousands more is coming from. A few more hp/torque and the tuned suspension does not warrant thousands more for face-lifted Sport. Where did you hear it's going to cost thousands more?
  3. It's listed on page 12 of the guide under functional as Ford Performance Tuned Suspension.
  4. The 8 speed is a significant change but does not justify a few thousands more for the ST. I see few Sports advertised for 50K, but I doubt anyone who is seriously shopping for one would pay that price.
  5. So basically you don't know, and just guessing on the standard brake ST brake size and HP/Tune? I just find it strange that Ford Performance didn't give the ST more HP/torque than the MKX, but gave it the same HP/torque.
  6. What is the size of the standard ST brakes versus the Sport, and isn't the tune/HP the same as 2016-2018 MKX?
  7. I'm curious to know why it would be a couple thousand more for the ST. Besides the brake package, I don't see anything there to justify a couple thousand more than the Sport.
  8. The order guide is released. Please see the link from the Blue Oval forum and the attached guide. http://www.blueovalforums.com/forums/index.php?/topic/65195-2019-edge-order-guide/ 2019 Edge Order Guide.pdf

  12. There is a left hand side on ebay, but the seller is selling it with a hands free lift gate sensor. https://m.ebay.com/itm/Ford-exhaust-trim-chrome-bezel-left-and-lift-gate-sensor-hands-free-genuine/273066683285?_trkparms=pageci%3Aca0bd1a0-1a2e-11e8-9931-74dbd180f753%7Cparentrq%3Acd201db51610aadc1cf88ff2ffff35bb%7Ciid%3A1&_trksid=p2481888.c100675.m4236

  14. https://www.motor1.com/news/149536/2019-ford-edge-spied-testing/ In 2014, Ford gave its Edge SUV a major makeover. An all-new platform, shared with the Lincoln MKX, and a range of new EcoBoost options provided some much-needed freshening up for the crossover that was nearly seven years old. For 2019, the Edge will see a less extensive revision, but necessary nonetheless. The updates will range from minor enhancements on the exterior, to some added tech in the cabin. Our spy photographers recently caught up with one of the first prototypes of the upgraded Edge testing near Ford headquarters in Dearborn. Most of the juicy bits remain covered up, including the new front fascia and revised rear. New headlights are among the major updates, but the overall profile will remain nearly identical from the outgoing model. The Edge will ride on the same Ford CD4 platform. The most significant revision will come under the hood. The same 2.0-liter and 2.7-liter EcoBoost engines will carry over from the previous model, as will the more powerful 3.5-liter V6, but gone is the six-speed automatic in place of a more modern nine-speed gearbox. The new transmission should help boost power and efficiency overall. The current Edge produces as much as 315 horsepower (234 kilowatts) and 29 mpg highway, depending on the engine. The current Edge in its updated form will stick around until at least 2021. Ford may even introduce more upscale features from the Edge Vignale sold in Europe to buyers in the U.S. The 2019 Edge should make its in-person debut later in the year, likely at the LA Auto Show, or possibly early next at the Detroit Auto Show.
  15. What model Edge do you have? That option has been standard on the 2015 Edge Sports.
  16. Any rattling issues in the 2017 with Vista roof?
  17. So we will not see the nine speed transmission or any new driver assistant options till the next generation Edge?
  18. Ford is developing a nine-speed transmission with GM for FWD and AWD cars, but I guess we will not see it in the Edge for awhile.
  19. Does anyone without the Vista roof have the rattling issue? The rattling is so annoying.
  20. It works perfectly for me 95 percent of the time. It's must have feature for me on any new car purchase.
