  1. After owning my "X" for 15 months, I just found out that there is an "enhanced" setting for odometer. Beside showing distance and time, it also shows miles per gallon on the same screen. Ya learn something new every day.
  2. When setting the memory, holding in driver 1 or 2 button, are you holding it in until you hear 2 beeps? That's how it's set on my MKX, give it a try.
  3. All of the steering wheel are heated, except the top portion where the wood is (between the 10 & 2 position).
  4. Yup, Waldo, gotta agree with you there. Maybe they should be forced to include a brief description, ie - struct damage, 1/4 panel replacemnt. I think when people see strictural damage, they think things like frame damage, etc.
  5. Most important, get the gas leak corrected, and have the brakes (breaks) checked. Sync, on occasion, will reboot, nothing too often. Check it all while it's there.
  6. There should be a rubber insert for both the large and small cup holders.
  7. Those buttons ARE NOT for heated seats, they are for memory seat setting, ie driver 1 & driver 2.
  8. I lift when loading things ito the cargo area, but my wife always doesn't, Not intentionally, but if it's somethingn heavy, it's tough.
  9. See, exactly what I mean, the Lincoln paints a different image ! Maybe Ford should reconsider, bring back the Mercury. Kind of a mix of Ford & Lincoln, without the price and image.
  10. Mark, This is exactly the reason that I did not get the rear bumper protector, it seemed to thin, AND, it did not cover the edge of the bumper, where many scratches and nicks occur. Maybe Ford/Lincoln will wake up, and offer something nicer (maybe even stainless steel )
  11. The only reason that I can think that Ford will not offer some features on the Edge, is to "push" people into the MKX. This is the main reason I got the "X" instead of the Edge, there were some features the "X" has that I could not get on the Edge. I really love the "X", but I think, at times, people think that I'm "snooty" (or hot shit) for driving a Lincoln, which, believe me. I'm not. I can pick my nose, or my ass, just as good as anyone else ! :hyper:
  12. Very nice looking, enjoy. About the only thing I would do is to remove the dealers "tag" on the liftgate. I hate when dealers put these on.
  13. Congrats to both on your new Edges, hopefully they arrive quickly.
  14. Welcome aboard the Forum, and congrats on your New Edge. Glad you found it, sounds sweet.
  15. Guess until they fix it ! Hopefully soon for you.
  16. Hey Quinn, Just went online (FORD.COM), and according to the site, the Sport does come with th Sony HD radio, should put a smile on your face
  17. Have the exact same one, have used it for yeaars, does the job, and folds out of the way.
  18. Andy, Did you go back to Ford yet with the problem ? It will be interesting to see what the heck they have to say. For the hell of it, why not "push' for new wheels and tires, tell them that you are getting very stressed over the situation. Ya know, stress can force a person to seek out a good attorney !
  19. Repaired and resold at another dealer.........................................sorry, that sucks. Ford, and all manufacturers should just bite the bullit, when they build a lemon, the onlY thing that a lemon should be used for, is TEA !
  20. Hey Quinnlacey, As tacyon said, MANY THANKS for you service, welcome to the Forum, and conrats on ordering your Sport. Smart choice with the AWD, I have friends that live in Akron, Northfield, and Burton, l know how your winters can get. Did the dealer give you any idea on your "wait time"? Joe
  21. Damn, real bummer that this isn't mentioned when you ordered the DVD players. Don't get rid of the tilting headrests. Some day, you might want them..My wife drives a '09 MKS, loves it, except her headrests don't tilt, like mine do in my MKS. What she learned to do to compensate for the non tilting headrest, is to lower the back portion of the power seat, just a hair, helped her out.
  22. OK, so you are quite a way down from me. Good to read that you heated the garage up, before applying Collinite insulator wax. Som far, I am very Happy with it. One of my nephews moved to Delanco. If it's not too far rom you, maybe we can meet next time In go down there.
  23. Good going, Mark, I bet the Edge looks and feels great. I used Collinite on my wife's car and mine, they look and feel awesome. Where about are you in southern Jersey. I'm up in Union county. Enjoy the Edge. Joe
  24. Don't know Canadian prices verses the U.S., but they seem expensive. The only one I would definately go for is Fords Premium Care, covers just about everything. Paint and fabric protection, in my opinion, a waste of money. Don't know much about the rust inhibitor, but $799, come on guys, a bit much. Haven't thought much about extended mainenance, Use your gut feeling.
