Yeah, with AWD, you have to drive as if you have a egg under your accelerator, push too hard, it will crack, and you'll get yuckers all over. Around town, I can manage 17, and that's about it. Highway driving, with cruise on, and l keep it around 64-65 mph, I can get 26 on it, but push it to 70+ mph, and mileage drops way down. Whats really wild, is that my wifes FWD MKX, gets top mileage at 80 mph, go figure ???

Congrat's and glad that you finally got your sport, 7 weks wasn't too long of a wait. I'm sitting on 20's with my "X", lower than what my Explorer was, but still a sweet ride. Get a good coat of wax on in, preferably Collinte 845 Insullator. Can't beat it, for sure.

Hopefullly, they will make good on your claim ! a shame it had to happen, but if they made a quality product, this wouldn't have happened to you.

Friends have a Subaru, nothing earth shattering about it, and yes, interior especially is "fair" in my book. I rather buy AMERICAN and support the U.S.A., not Japan or Korea, or anyone else.

I would definately file a complaint, and tell them, that if you are not compensated for the damage, you will post on every forum, including facebook, the damage their product caused. That might shake them up a bit. Hope that you can get the paint to match. Joe

Best thing to do, is go to a shop that does interior painting/dying. When my wifes MKS was about a week old, I accidentally got black magic marker on the camel colored passenger seat, drivers door, and center console, which was a medium grey colour. Don't ask how I did it, too long to explain, but I was sick as a dog when it happened. I went to the dealer, nothing would get it out. The dealer had a guy come to the dealership, he spray painted (dyed) the passenger seat & door, where the magic marker was, and resprayed the center console too. He knew exactly what colour to use, and that is over 4 1/2 years ago. It was $175 to get the job done, but worth every cent.

I have to get my Duragloss products first. \I told my wife that she can run my car for a few days, want to do a complete job on hers, although it's not that bad. She was at Home Depot the other week, some guy started talking to herr about the car (how great it looks), asked where she has it detailed, and she told him that I do,it. He gave her his number, said I should call him, he would like to talk to me, and guess what, he's in the detailing business. MAybe it was just a pick up line :shades: .

Got my cloth in yesterdays mail, did the windows of both carws, never had windows totally streak free before. Bought 2 of the cloths to try them out, one for the kitchen, did an amazing job on the stainless steel appliances, including the glass cooktop on the gas range.

King Mike, I have to differ with you regarding gas mileage. My wife and I went to Pa on Sunday, used cruise for almost the entire trip (had it set at 64 mph). Traveled 253 miles, used 8.9 gals mof gas, giving a very respectable 28.4 mpg's. If I drive it hard,k mileage does go way down, but where's the rush? Ny the way, I drive a MKX, with the 3.7 in it.

How about MLFT - My Lazy Friggin Touch I have to admit, my has been almost flawless, a couple of hiccups, basically ok.

Wow, cutting it a little close there. I've noticed that when I fill up, if the nozzle is on high, and it clicks off, I can get at least another 1 1/2 gals of gas into the tank.
