I started a thread around here somewhere where a phone contact to an internet dealer was listed. His prices beat everyone else I could find, just debating if I want to spend extra for the rental car option.
Our 07 Edge AWD was the best vehicle I have ever driven in the snow. A complete and total tank. Haven't had our 11 Sport long enough but the small driving we've done seems almost as good with the sole exception of a bit worse stopping due to the 22s.
Ok, after trying about 100 times I finally got it to work using IE and the Java applet.... site is crazy buggy. FYI for anyone trying, just keep at it.

I'm also interested to hear the updated version. Can you run the Sync checker and report back? I'm curious if it's the same as ours which is normally quick but certainly not lightning fast and does lag heavy at times.
Yes, it would never prompt me to save the file, just hung on the Java page or gave me ActiveX errors even though it never prompted me to install the ActiveX script
"BT4T-14D544-BD" is the update? That's the version on ours now from the factory (built early Nov). I haven't had a lot of the issues described but it has rebooted twice on us and bluetooth over our cell is completely garbled and unusable (though the data and pairing works fine) Guess ALL the bugs weren't worked out
Anyone know of any other way to get the Sync Checker app than via the website? I've tried both their Java and AcriveX route and neither is working (on multiple machines with different OS and browser configs, and I'm an IT Engineer by trade). Chatting on the site was also not a help (I was told I don't need it and I shouldn't know about TSBs... sigh) Any help is appreciated.
We've got a foot now, and I have to say, the 22s really go well. I was nervous compared to the 18's from our 07 but it still goes like a tank with no slipping issues. Time will tell on really bad days and as the tires wear but so far so good!
Don't hold your breath that this version is the cure all. It's on ours (delivered a couple weeks ago) and we've had 2 reboots in the week and a half since pickup and the BT dialing with our phone doesn't work. (Dials but audio is trashed) Sounds better than others but clearly not bug free unfortunately
Same as our Sport which we picked up last week. Everything seems ok (ish) with the exception of talking on our cell via bluetooth (pairs but audio in completely scrambled) and we had 1 Sync reboot to date.

BT4T-14D544-BD SYNC GEN 2 BT4T-14D544-BD CI 11/16/2010
Shows on the update screen.
Also on the confirmed installs:
BT4T-14D546-AG
BT4T-14F496-AG
BT4T-14F497-AG
SYNC compatible software
BT4T-14F603-AG
Dunno if this is the new version or some kind of interim version.
Might be, just know what showed on SyncMyRide was the different version (the later one someone posted on here) and not the original version. It was built the week of 11/8 (2 weeks ago) so not sure. Hope there's an even newer more fixed version that'll correct the bluetooth phone issue we're having!!
Picked it up today. Everything (that I can tell) works well except making/receiving calls from my bluetooth phone. It connects fine but the audip is scrambled garbage. Contacts and all other phone info transferred fine and signal is fine so dunno. Gonna keep working on it and see what happens. Will report on the rest as we drive it more. Reaction is decent on the screen but at times (seems like certain functions) it lags. Other times it's instant. Still crazy impressive tech.
None on mine but the dealer is ordering and is going install for free next week when they arrive without a hassle. Very appologetic too, nice dealership!
