  1. Have they fully dismounted and remounted the tires yet Edgieguy? That seemed to help ours until it got cold (and that's a normal drop in PSI so far) They also replaced the valve stem but it was the dismount, clean and remount that helped.
  2. We just had our 3.7 torn down for a leak (well, leaks). So far the problem is gone.
  3. That seems odd. My 07 Chrysler shows each tire with pressure and knows when i rotate them. I have to say, it is certainly one of the missing things on such an otherwise techy vehicle.
  4. Awesome, thanks for sharing everyone! The wife is gonna be thrilled with these
  5. I can confirm that 3.5.1 is working fine for us (for a week) and that my voice command works better than previous versions (it often didn't like me but was fine with my wife).
  6. I think ours goes like a tank personally. Braking requires a gentle foot and some distance or you can slide but otherwise it was great IMO.
  7. I really like it. I'd go insane trying to keep it clean in Ohio but I like it!
  8. Why did you not pursue a lemon law for the vehicle? If the regional manager is unwilling to address the problem then you should have repeatedly taken it to the dealer and asked them to keep it until properly repaired. After 2 attempts or 20 days out of service you then send a certified letter to Ford HQ at which point they are notified of a final attempt at repair. If they are unsuccessful you can pursue a replacement/refund. I can certainly appreciate your frustration as I have been through the process with a different vehicle (not Ford) but there's no reason to accept a faulty product when obviously others are not having this issue.
  9. Voice control is improved IMO in this version, slightly. It never has had an issue with my wife, only my voice but it did better on the commands I've tried thus far since the latest update. "Also a huge problem is they have relied so heavily in the functioning of this system that hard button/knob controls are missing for things like HVAC. Last winter we had no heat or any control of the system" I'll agree the hard knobs missing was a mistake, 100%, but if your car had no heat control why not take it in for service and let the dealer replace your hardware? That is a warranty fix.
  10. Issue ended up being a few things... power steering lines were replaced as well as a tear down of the top of the engine and several gaskets replaced and everything resealed. (Timing cover, valve cover, front crank seal, etc) If it's under warranty, take it in and ask them to add dye to your oil then run it for a few days and take it back. They'll see it under black light.
  11. I'd agree the MT is far from perfect but at least Ford is making an effort to correct it as well as provide NAV users with free map updates and extend everyone's warranty on the system. Very few tech products are perfect but I like a company that puts forth an effort to fix their problems. Heck, too many cell phone companies just abandon bad models and say too bad, buy a new one. Having said that, my phone pairs just fine but whenever a call is made it is not useful (garbled audio). I'm pretty sure it's the bluetooth stack in my old Samsung phone so next time I get a phone, I'll test it in the car before agreeing to buy just to make sure it works as well as check the syncmyride site if they update their list.
  12. So far so good. For anyone who has the clicking sound, we had a "noisy" CV joint. The entire right front axle / halfshaft assembly was replaced after the tech spoke with Ford's hotline. So far no noise but I'll report back if anything changes. The drips ended up with half the engine being torn down. Power steering lines were replaced as well as multiple gaskets on the engine block, valve covers resealed and a few other seals were replaced. (I like their thoroughness.) Most work we've ever needed on our Fords... yikes. But hey, if it fixed the issue(s) I'm good
  13. Ours has this exact same issue. They are replacing the fuel line(s) and filter as well as replaced and changed the oil and oil filter (though I know it's not the latter because it happened prior to oil changes and also after). I'll let you know if it helped when we get it back and check for drips.
  14. Back in the shop. They are ordering a new CV joint or axle assembly depending on what Ford says (in contact with their techs since no other items appear worn or failed). The dripping was apparently unrelated. I'll keep this thread posted with updates when the parts arrive and the service is complete if anyone is still watching.
  15. Do you notice if your sport has the 2 small drip spots when it's been parked overnight in the front/passenger area under the engine about in line with the wheel? Think we might need to visit a different dealer because now the clicking is REALLY bad.
  16. None on the lugs, I checked that previously but I'll try to take a peek at the rest today. I would have assumed if it was bad enough to cause that during the rotation the dealer would have addressed it but then again, with dealer service I shouldn't assume anything. Small 2 leaks are also a concern. Anyone have a good dealer in NE Ohio?
  17. Any update? The noise is back again when turning to the left and I noticed 2 small drip spots in the garage in front passenger area under the engine (about as far back as the front wheels). Frustrating.
  18. Nope. For some reason when they rotated the tires the noise stopped (for now)
  19. I noticed that in a few threads here, thank you. The issue with ours is that the 22s are a single piece aluminum wheel (no cladding) so I can't figure out what is actually making that noise. Just hate going to the dealer to be told it couldn't be reproduced or that it's "normal" when clearly it isn't.
  20. I posted this in the general forum but noticed this one (sorry for the double post). Long story short, my wife's 2011 AWD Sport with the 22s is making a clicking noise (sounds like it's coming from the front wheels or perhaps the break assembly) when she makes a left turn. Once the wheel straightens out it stops immediately. I checked for rubbing and found no signs. It sounds like a metallic clip in a bicycle wheel spoke almost and it's happening on both front sides. We're going to make a trip to the dealer when time allows but if anyone has any ideas to check for I'd really appreciate it. The turns don't have to be hard, just any left turn regardless of speed or tightness of the turn. Thanks in advance for any help.
  21. Good news, thanks. That is 1 of the 2 items that I don't like with the update. The other is the radio shows "Entertainment" instead of artist/title unless you're on one of the sub screens and not the home screen. Why the home screen couldn't also show it like it did before is beyond me.
  22. So I was riding in my wife's Sport AWD (22s) the other day with the window down and noticed a ticking noise coming from the passenger side (not sure if it's front and/or back) during slow turns. Once the wheel straightens out it stops but something is definitely clicking during the entire turn. I looked to see if I could spot signs of rubbing in either wheel well and didn't but wondered if anyone has a guess or if this is common before I take it into the dealer to be told some BS line. And help is appreciated. Thanks!
  23. The Harold Ziegler Automotive Group was far below others on their quote so we purchased from them. No problems, Ford verifies it's on our car and active so all good. Also helpful in answering questions if you have any.
  24. You should be able to snag the 1 yr for about half off. That tends to be pretty pervasive if you try hard enough. There's a small fee added on but it's still around $70-$80 for a year vs the addon price per month at almost 2x that.
  25. Ours either but now less than a week later it just mega crashed. Hoping some shut down time to think about what it's done will fix it I wish ya luck that yours doesn't follow ours but I wonder why Ford wouldn't just replace all the apims if they know there's a chance they'll flake out as early 11 models.
