  1. The only way to tint them without diminishing light output is to switch to brighter bulbs to compensate which causes other problems with wiring and sockets and heat, etc.
  2. If only that worked for spouses.......... (I said SPOUSES not WIVES!!!!)
  3. Please don't tint the headlamps or taillights such that it diminishes the light output. It's dangerous and illegal. If you're just doing the non-lit areas then paint or plasti-dip would work.
  4. You change the volume while she's speaking.
  5. No, it's a scam/urban myth. They don't work and it's off topic for this thread.
  6. No. They don't work on any vehicle period. It's a scam/urban myth.
  7. Forgot about the brake booster issue. I agree if it's several days later it's probably nothing to worry about.
  8. If it works normally after starting it's probably ok. A leak would leave a soft pedal, not a hard pedal.
  9. This. ^^^ It has to do with what they use for the official published ratings.
  10. I think the new Lincolns will get more goodies than they currently have. Definitely more design choices with black label.
  11. It depends on which parts were replaced and whether the parts are tied to VIN through the PCM or not.
  12. Exactly. My guess is they've determined that not all the coils are damaged so why replace them unnecessarily. Or it could be simple cost cutting. No way to really tell but it's hard to argue replacing the ones that test ok without further evidence.
  13. Please continue this discussion here: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/14486-2015-lincoln-mkx-concept/
  14. The dealer will check it and determine if it was a defect or damage. If it's not a defect check with insurance - most plans will cover glass repair with little or no deductible.
  15. Go to the dealer and look at other 2014 limiteds on the lot and compare. If none of them have it then you're SOL.
  16. Did not realize they changed the TSB. It makes sense if you can easily identify the coils that need to be replaced and the ones that don't.
  17. How dare they not change perfectly good coils!
  18. This is just an exterior styling concept - no running gear or interior.
  19. You're assuming that everyone who wanted a nav system would either buy one new or buy the factory add-on. That's not what would happen. People would stop buying the factory system new and would instead buy the hacked one from someone for half the price and Ford gets nothing. This way the people who want factory Nav will buy it from the factory. The ones that didn't get it from the factory but are willing to pay factory prices for it to be added later are few and far between.
  20. All of the coils should be replaced. The dealer is wrong (again). Have them read the TSB and call Ford if necessary.
  21. I've never heard of a Ford factory alarm coming with a shock sensor..... ?
