  1. All you have to do is rinse it with water and it's good as new.
  2. How have you gone through them? I have one that I bought in the late 90s. They're silicone. I chose not to go the installed route because I didn't want to have to remove and then reapply my phone case every time I get in or out. I just go pocket to dash and vice-versa. I have a windshield mount for it to run trapster when I go on road trips.
  3. Good luck getting anything to stick to that dashboard. Mine's 8 months old and is still off-gassing bad enough that 3M trim tape won't even stick.
  4. It's not supposed to be adhesive. Friction holds it there, and friction holds stuff on it. Why would you want it to be adhesive?
  5. Actually, the dealer will do it for free. Ford even has that fact in all of their literature.

    Digital Cameras...

I briefly had a d5100. I loved the pivoty screen, but once I tried the 7000, it was a done deal. And since you have a DX camera, you might want to see if you can pick up a 70-300 - F/4.5-5.6 VRII on craigslist. With the crop factor, it works out to a 105-450mm. Zoooooooooooom.
  7. I've noticed from looking through forum post pictures that we have some members that know how shoot in funky lighting modes and still get results. What cameras/lenses do y'all use, what do you like about them, and what would you change? I'll start. I usually use a Nikon d7000 with a Nikkor AF-S DX 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR II lens. I have some other stuff, but that combo is the go-to. That lens is a good versatile zoom, but kinda sucks for macro shooting or low light unless you're REALLY stable or use a tripod. The body will do damn near anything you could want, takes 2 SD cards, and is FAST.
  8. From the PM post, for anyone else: (No dirty car comments) Pull the switch panel up from the armest side. Pull the upper piece from the top. Now that I looked, there is only one bolt at each of the locations and 2 screws at the bottom. When you get all 4 undone, just lift the panel.
  9. 18% will be fine. The price depends on the film. Did they tell you what brand/series they were going to use?

    Park4U

Yeah, I can't wait 'til someone using it sneezes and totals the car next to theirs.
  11. The LED strips can be all different shades of white. Quality control sucks. Mine are two different colors.
  12. Eventually, sometime after my surgery this month, I'm just planning to polish mine.
  13. Any kind of oil or wax will work. The rag and your arm pull up the edges of the adhesive and the oil/wax keeps it from sticking back down. That's why WD-40 works.
  14. You don't need it. Just go to the regular address and it flips to mobile.
  15. It is on some Fords. Not this one.
  16. Here, the only way someone else will pump it is if you're handicapped and can't do it yourself.
  17. The answer to the last line is no.
  18. Insurance will consider it "collision." prepare for the deductible.
  19. Yeah, I'll stick with stock. Thank you for sharing.
  20. Not supposed to pump your own gas? WTF? And never top it off.
