  1. I continue to have leaking tire syndrome with my 2011 Sport 22's. Actually its been at the dealer for the past week with this problem, and its the third time. last time they told me they couldnt reproduce the problem and that I had a nail in one tire. This only 2 days after they said they had all 4 tires off, cleaned oxidation off the wheels and sanded the rubber whiskers left over from the tire manufacturing process. Ive asked twice for them to just replace the wheels as per their own TSB instructions, yet they refuse. In my case its all 4 wheels.
  2. I had this issue one time with my 11 Sport when it was only weeks old. It was re-charged sent to the dealer and I never had the problem occur again. I do often rotate a batter tender / maintainer / charger through all my vehicles which is especially important in the winter weather. It usually tops off the batteries in about 6-8 hours and then you know they're at full charge. $20 from Walmart
  3. LMAO! This was my first mod when I got my Sport home from the dealer! I really hated how they plastered that big plate holder in the middle of a black grill!
  4. Ive seen this done and it looks fantastic! Wish I had taken pictures, That shadow chrome spray is cool.
  5. ^Awesome price for them and a huge difference in the look with them on!
  6. Hey the Ole Edge 6x6. They didnt last long huh? Same PTU problems, No third row seat, and the extra cost of tires and balancing all the time. I went with that "off road looking theme" with my 2008 Limited, but it was too much and really didn't help the utility of the vehicle. We need a step ladder in the back to get people in and out, when my Wife wore nice dresses and heels it was even tougher, so thats why the 2011 Sport stayed stock.
  7. Our Sport wheels are the big problem here. They weigh in at just over 47lbs each. Then add the balance weights and TPMS and maybe your at 48lbs. If you bring them down to a 20" lightweight wheel you can easily shave off 12-15lbs at each corner on the wheel alone! The weight of a 20" tire will further reduce the weight of the wheel unit and acceleration and braking are vastly improved! Want another benefit? You'll get upwards of 2-4MPG better fuel efficiency.
  8. Do I spy paddle shifters poking out behind that steering wheel? I hardly ever use mine unless im downshifting for hard stops or heading down steep inclines, but they're still cool to have
  9. Rob at ProCharger had the same problem with RD on an Edge Sport, They were grenading under the Edge.... http://www.procharger.com/2011_v6_mustang.shtml
  10. Thanks Cellbine for your service abroad and for your help on the forum. My buddies have told me how nice it was to get a surprise package in the mail from friends so If there is any address that you can be reached at with mail / parcels can you post it up? Be safe, Andy
  11. Congratualations and welcome. There are a lot of great members here and lots of information and ideas. Somehow this board never seems to lose activity.
  12. I just had mine in for the BAMR cause it stopped as it closed, had only days before my warranty ran out, but Ford Actually stepped up and gave me a 6/75K $100 deductible warranty extension.
  13. I like it, but Im also still very happy with my 11 Sport. Here's some more reading. http://www.caradvice.com.au/260890/ford-edge-suv-concept-previews-territory-successor/
  14. Not complaining then, I just drove a 2013 Limited AWD and got no better gas mileage during my normal routes than I get in my Sport AWD. Ive switched to full synthetic motor oil and plan on using other synthetics when I have to change the trans fluid as well.

    pulstar plugs

Your results are the norm for these plugs. Read reviews on them and you will see that many others claim that the plugs ruined other parts and that the car never drove correctly while they were installed.
  16. I was going to suggest you check all the electrical connections under the seat to make sure you didnt disconnet something while vacuuming or pulling things out from under the seat but I see that you believe its working a little bit, still might be worth checking
  17. Have you thought about using the Duplicolor Shadow spray to make it Black-Chrome instead of painting it? I saw a 2011 at a local carshow that had done all his chrome with Shadow chrome and it looked fantastic, door handles included. http://www.duplicolor.com/products/shadow/
  18. I dont believe range rover and Ford share the same bolt pattern, my friend offered me some RR wheels for my wife's Explorer 5x114.3 like our Edge and I remember it was wrong.
  19. Awesome! They look great and I was wondering about the MPG and performance gains, good to know. Thanks for sharing
