I am reading that the 128s can be used.
  2. Cellbine: 75-85 mph. However, you have to consider this was not flat. I was literally climbing a mountain.

I am running a Patriot 16GB. I am looking at either a SanDisk, Kingston, or Patriot 64 GB card. However, I have seen the new 128 GB cards I am wondering if those will work in the S4.

Did anyone upgrade their memory cards? I am looking at going to a 64GB card. I also reduced the resolution of the video to 720p.
  5. I just ran to Prescott this past weekend and averaged 21.6 MPG after 284 miles. This includes an altitude change from 1500 ft to nearly 4000 ft above sea level. With two days of reguar travel back and forth to work (and one severe dust storm), I am at 20.9.

Did you try the equalizer settings?
  7. What's the scoop on the strut tower brace and sway bar? I am interested in those.
  8. Did you look at this one? http://www.jlaudio.com/10w1v3-2-car-audio-w1v3-subwoofer-drivers-92080 Also, what are you using to amplify the sub?
  9. According to the glass shop I used, there are different prices if you have the acoustic layer (Sound Screen), Rain sensing, or regular. Mine is the Sound Screen and it is over $300 brand new. This is enough to make me glad I have glass coverage on my auto insurance.
  10. Stopped in yesterday and ran over some install related questions. They speculated that the 12TW3 w/box may be too large. Also, they want to keep the stock amp to power the center speaker and the two on the D-pillars.
  11. JL Audio, why must you torment me? Now, you come out with a 12TW3 sub? I am fortunate to be in the shopping and saving stage.
  12. This time, they came out to replace the windshield. Considering that's my first time seeing the car without a windshield, I found it strange that it didn't look finished from that point of view.
  13. Time to go aftermarket and build what you want. In your first gen MKX, it is a LOT easier.
  14. Update: One thing I am really neglecting to do in all this is look at their install quality and thoroughly test their installations. Will take a look when I get a chance.
  15. The key to that is the sidewall. If the sidewall is too narrow, the ride is going to be rougher.
  16. In this same forum, I posted about getting a set of 20" lace type wheels for mine. However, the more I am thinking about it, the more I am reconsidering that. The 18s are pretty decent for me and the cost of replacing the tires is actually better.
  17. Jim, I am running an 8GB Patriot drive using FAT32. So far, I have done 3.5.1 and 3.6.2 with no issues on either. Plus, this drive is dedicated only to Sync/MFT updates. I also have a 120 GB HD formatted with exFAT that works without problem.
  18. KingMike: Not necessarily the case. For example, mine is out of the car for at least 8 hrs a day or better and it has no problem syncing the phonebook. I even have my MFT set to autodownload the phonebook. Voice commands to my contacts work fine. slideways: Do you know what version of Android you are on? You can find that out by going to System:Settings:About Phone. Mine is running 4.2.2 . Also, did you do the latest MFT/Sync Update?
  19. I would venture to say around 1/4-1/2 inch. All I heard was the telltale "pop" and saw the crack later in the day.
  20. I apply bug and tar remover on the surface, let it soak to loosen and then clean it with soap and water.
