    Three Edges total miles approximately 641,000 miles. But who is counting.

    Buy a new throttle body. A fix like that may or may not work and has a higher probability of failure.

    I am less than 600 miles from reaching 250,000 miles on my SECOND Ford Edge!!! I will review the current Edge and make a video of all it took to get there a second time and then sum up the differences between the Gen 1 and the Gen 1.5.

    Ball joints are worn. Replace the whole lower control arm on both sides.

    I Know at least one person that discovered a coolant issue through oil testing and this saved his engine.

    May eventually replace the valve cover on BB as the new valve cover on LU is proving to have quenched the oil usage in LU.

    Stick with your plan as the only other real solution is to replace the sub frame. $$$$

    This is a start to the series covering every PID (parameter ID) in the Forscan App and what they do to help. This is a sectioned series. I started out with some rather annoying sound but have figured it out and the 3rd series on should sound a lot better. Hope this helps some of you.

    250,000 miles for the second time in a second Edge!! LU is actually not showing the age and wear that the Orange Crush did at this point. Could it be I have dialed in the Maintenance better? Folks will be able to see LU at the MACT meeting the 15th of Sept in Rochelle Illinois. Going to be a great meeting and lots of folks. 2nd Annual meeting and about 15 or more Ford Edges on hand.

    Tone ring inspection video for those days when you have nothing else to do and want to know are my axles and tone rings good after 250,000 miles on the OE axles? Lets check them out.

    Figured why not make a quick tip video while installing the new harmonically balanced Centric slotted rotors and Aekbono brake pads. Yep LU is stepping up to some neat brakes. Here is the brake tip.

    LU received some new Centric Slotted and Harmonically balanced Rotors with Akbono pads. So far the first 400 miles are doing well and under extremely wet raining conditions. I am satisfied with the results. I am also having some great reduced oil consumption. The new valve cover is performing well.

    Strut mounts and struts. Strut bearing is bad.

    So far no leaks and not seeing any oil usage, but only have about 80hrs on the oil
