That is why I never buy new cars. That is a big hit in price for 4 yrs.

Next up I purchased 4 quick lube oil filters at four different quick lube shops. The interesting song and dance to get them to sell me the filter only was interesting and funny. I then opened them up and found..... Video to be released soon.

Oil filter cutting tool I use to open filters. Much safer than an angle grinder and it does not put metal and other garbage in the filter during the process.

Took about a month off from videos. Had to accomplish some home remodel projects. Anyway back at it for some parts reviews before installation.

Remove exhaust and you may free up some room. I have not had a chance to check out the AWD and the obstructions.

We will see if the ole LU can out distance the Orange Crush. I will say over all the 1.5 Gen is a much better version for the long haul than the 1st gen. I feel like it can just keep going and going.

Next up some transmission fluid testing to come along with some rather odd oils. Videos production has taken a back seat for a bit until home renovation projects are finished.

Still driving and nothing going on. 237,000 miles now.

To really check it you will have to connect it up to a system analyzer. I use the Solar BA7 and confirmed my alternator was not charging. They are a bit of a pain to replace so do not go cheap as it is a job you don't want to do twice. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLqUBpIGk7rJrEUxvM7ydBk6KBNE-pyU9-

Trans, coolant and OIl samples are all going out. Bet no one has a test on new coolant and 35K mile coolant. I will have it soon. Wonder what is happening in just 35K miles?

Is it an AWD. If so PTU or axle seal may be leaking my last fall back would be rear main seal but doubt it.

Oil testing will show coolant in the oil long before complete failure. The water pump does not just suddenly fail in most cases. It fails slowly and some folks are finding the issue before it fails by testing the oil. So far engines are being saved by testing the oil .

Would say most likely it would be a PCM issue and time for circuit board medics to work on the PCM new plugs and coils installed after the PCM is refurbished then you should be good to go.

Coolant changed at 35K miles of use. The engine has 234,000 miles on it. Here is a photo of what the coolant looks like at 35K miles of use. I will be having both tested NEW and USED to record the level of degradation at 35K miles of use along with nitrites and PH among other things. Should be interesting.
