  1. Not to mention selling one of those used is WRONG. They get VIN locked. It will only work on the OP's vehicle once used.
  2. Unless you have the B&O Sound System by Bang & Olufsen it does not have HD radio. Don't believe this is available in the 2020 ST-Line. The B&O Sound System by Bang & Olufsen uses a completely different ACM which has only the audio output for the amplifier which. The ACM is physically missing the hardware for driving speakers without the an amplifier. What this means is an HD receiver won't even function properly in your vehicle.

This may be due to the softwarein the trailer module (TRM). To correct the condition, reprogram the TRM with the latest software of the appropriate Ford diagnostic scan tool. 4. I'll do you one better. check the pdf, 19 edge st drain fill.pdf
  5. A brake fluid flush is not part of the service. A 4 wheel brake bleed is however.
  6. Fill up with premium, shows 273...meaning it is basing DTE off the previous tank driving habits Then fill up with regular after the premium tank and now showing 319 DTE which is based off your premium tank. Granted it may or may not be attributed to octane as many other factors come into play (driving habits, weather including wind, temp, etc) So it seems right to me.
  7. I replaced my rear rotors and pads at about 15000 I think. Ford is known for crappy rotors. Not sure why they would have replaced your calipers though. I wouldn't leave a vehicle for a long time with the parking brake applied. The pads probably were stuck to the rotor. An inspection may be in order. They have the front brake hoses now. Owner letters are going out in May.
  8. Sorry I may have gotten some part #s mixed up while searching for downloads. I thought that was 4.1.3 but looks like I mixed up some of the file name. Just do searches for the files in that list. See what you can come up with.
  9. Mine works great. You need to research it and be comfortable with all the aspects of installing it and setting it up or pay someone to do it for you.
  10. False, it was not available at all on the Edge in 2018. Confirmed via dealer order guide. Also false that it can't be added. I added it to my 16 Edge a couple years ago if not more. It's not officially supported by Ford for upgrading but it can be done.
  11. For the Edge it wasn't available until 2019. The info is out there, its not a con unless you were told by a saleperson it has it.
  12. Sounds like the PTU is bad. There isn't really anything you can do yourself. Changing the fluid in it would likely be useless at this point and no, there is no dipstick for the PTU. A new PTU may be in your future. Curious....what's your mileage?
  13. This appears to be an older version. Use at your own risk http://ivsu.binaries.ford.com/owner-package/1148041883126412588/DR3T-14D544-AG.zip No idea if it will install. Here is something I found...and the 13 Edge's I looked up that seem to have original software are 4.1.2 Use the table below to match the FPN number with your SYNC software version. 14. So you are at version 4.6? What was it previously? You have the 4.2" display right? Ford does not support rolling SYNC software back. A long press of the voice button or simply saying hey siri doesn't work?

  16. Liftgate Latch Release (manual liftgate) The liftgate latch can be released using: the exterior liftgate release switch. a valid programmed passive key. The BCM sends a voltage signal to the exterior liftgate release switch. When the liftgate release switch is pressed, the voltage signal is routed to ground, indicating a request to release the liftgate latch. The BCM momentarily provides voltage to the liftgate latch to actuate the release motor. When using the liftgate release switch, the BCM releases the liftgate only when the doors have been electronically unlocked and the vehicle is in PARK. When using a programmed RKE transmitter, press the liftgate release button twice within 3 seconds to release the liftgate latch. The liftgate latch releases if the vehicle speed is 5 km/h (3.1 mph) or less. The liftgate latch can also be released using the passive entry feature. Refer to Liftgate Passive Entry in this section. 15 edge manual liftgate.pdf
  17. The original APIMs for MFT are known to have high failure rates. Thats why Ford did an extended warranty on them (which is expired now btw) but Ford made improvements to the APIMs and they do hold up much better now. Problem with these other sellers is they will use whatever APIMs they can find cheap and use non ford methods of programming them. I only provide the correct latest gen APIM for SYNC2 replacements and program them using the official Ford method which means the latest software and firmware are in them and they are linked/programmed to your vehicle in the official Ford SYNC service registry. I charge $315 plus shipping. I don't have any in stock right now but can track one down if you want.
  18. I can confirm that it is from the storage bin that is to the left of the steering wheel in the knee bolster area. The bin that pulls out to access the fuse panel. I had mine come apart once and had to reassemble it.
  19. Personally I'd just go with what the vehicle came with. The BMS (battery management/maintenance system) is setup for what it came with. I recently had to replace the battery in my 16 Sport and while it was tempting to get a higher CCA amp I just bought one that matched the OEM specs. The original lasted 4.5 years. I figured that was pretty good considering I hear stories of newer vehicles eating batteries every 3 years or sooner,
  20. The chimes go through the stereo system typically if everything is good and healthy and the can bus network is all timed and in sync. If anything is amiss it defaults to the instrument cluster speaker. That is what is happening. Probably because of the weaker battery voltage from sitting.
  21. I am going to have to disagree with others and Ford and say it should be covered. Its an electrical fault within the mirror glass, not a defect within the construction of the mirror glass functionality (like the mirror isn't reflecting anymore) or customer damage. If the defroster on the rear window goes bad and isn't repairable, because it's on glass it wouldn't be covered? I call BS. It's an electrical issue and should be covered.
  22. Review this, see if it helps: http://paulmachenry.com/documents/Installation Instructions/Gold RMST/2012 200 RMST Truck.pdf The 2012 Edge starts on page 76
  23. @Dewdrop the fob part # you provided is for the extended range remote start. Those do not program the same as the original vehicle keys. How to program those should be in the manual for the add on remote start. What year is your Edge?
