  1. Since both options are available when ordering, that tells me it works. Plus I've read a few members here who have that combo with no issue. I crawled under my Sport yesterday to see if I could located the sensor. I couldn't.
  2. No the headrests do not have to be removed. The incline is due to the padding on the seats
  3. Someone will make a hitch for the Sport. The issue you need to watch out for is the Sport is rated for towing 2000 lbs. vs the 3500 lbs. of the SEL / Titanium.
  4. Post a request in the thread linked below. Benny is great at getting you information on parts/accessories. http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/10937-employee-pricing-on-all-parts-accessories/
  5. This is why I like black. It only shows dust which is easy to remove. Lighter colors are more susceptible to blue jean transfer and stains.
  6. To get the grey area, click "Quote" at the bottom right of the person's post. To type within he gray area, you can just click to where you want to type, and go for it. I suggest not doing that unless you make it clear what you are writing vs. what they wrote.
  7. One of the first things I did was take a picture of the door code (Card on the owners manual case) and saved it on my phone. This was a tip from my father. I said it was too easy to forget. Next night I go out, leave my Fob in the car, and when I get back to the car I draw a blank. Checked my phone...bam.
  8. Just practice good washing/waxing techniques and it'll look new for a long time. My Mustang is 5 years old and spent 4 of those years outside 24/7. Paint still looks brand new due to my OCD with washing (1-3 times a week) and using the proper procedure/materials. But be careful when using clay, polish, and some "paint cleaners" on that sealant your dealer is putting on. It may strip it off since it isn't a permanent coating.
  9. Everyone has their opinions regarding these coatings. I would just be familiar with what the warranty covers and what voids the warranty (to try and avoid voiding) it. Even with a sealant like that, I'd still top with a wax protection. There are a lot of spray liquid waxes these days that don't require buffing. Just spray and wipe. These spray waxes also make a nice drying aid so spray on the panel before drying it after a wash.
  10. I don't see it on the Ford Accessories site yet. Maybe try Hidden Hitch or Uhaul?
  11. Are you getting the xzilon treatment? If so, just make sure you read the fine print regarding the warranty. I think it states that you can't take it to a carwash unless it is touchless. How much is the treatment?
  12. Tell them to prep for delivery so you can get it tonight. There is no way I could wait another day knowing it was at my local dealer.
  13. I checked Lombard Ford (who I bought an extended warranty through before) and they are quoting $1764
  14. Have you shopped that price for the warranty? Sometimes you can find it cheaper at another dealer.
  15. Technically it is black on black. But the suede inserts look grayish next to the black leather. Just the results of the type of material, how the light hits it, etc..
  16. Went out at lunch, and when I heard the rattle tried messing with the driver's seatbelt adjustment on the B-Pillar and didn't do a thing. Sound sounds like it is coming from further back for sure. So i dropped the lower seats, got past 40, and the rattle was still there. I just need a day when someone can drive me around.
  17. I have yet to find the rattle since I haven't been driving much lately. The other day I folded the rear seats down and when I got home I thought: "I don't remember hearing the rattle during the drive". So try that out. Fold the rear seats down and see if you still hear it.
  18. This is one of those things where I am unsure of what is better. Having a human in control? Or having a computer in control? So I look at a situations. Computer is controlling truck and a human controlled vehicle cuts over in front of the truck, who responds faster? The human? Or the computer? And how does the computer respond? By just jamming on the brakes possible making the car lose control? Would the human do a better job in this situation? I think the only way it works like they want it to is to have most, if not all, vehicles on the road be controlled via computer. Then everything just flows in line. There isn't road rage. There is constant speed. There isn't passing. Mixing computers with humans could be bad.
  19. If your dealer has one on the lot with 51D, have him provide you a Window Sticker and stock #.
  20. I plan to do the same. Just haven't found time to have a friend drive it yet. This warm weather is keeping me in the Mustang.
  21. Have you tried having someone else drive while you try to pinpoint it?
  22. Sounds similar to mine. It isn't when I hit bumps. Just when I get over 30mph it seems to pop up. I will wedge something in there and see if that takes care of it.
  23. I don't remember it trying to steer me back in to the lane. Just the vibrations.
  24. Looks good. That color just sparkles. If you want to keep it looking detailed, it is pretty easy. Only handwash, use a good mitt, use good drying towels, and follow the correct washing procedure. This will keep the swirls away. Then apply a sealant / wax every few months.
