Because they're built better and sound better than most.
Nice! You won't be sorry. Borla systems sound good because they make an effort to calibrate the sound to the engine configuration. Magnaflow sound good with push-rod V8's and not so good on anything else.
Actually Borla has a system listed on their website now. It's a catback system.

I did that at the Borla website in the hope that they'd get enough requests to consider adding the Edge ST. I have a Borla X pipe and OTA pipes on my Mustang. The quality and fit/finish is excellent.
Mine would be 3/4 full in 5-7 days when the temperature got down to -20 C. Mostly due to the hot vapors condensing in an ice cold catch can. In my application the can was further from the motor. On the edge it's in a good location as it will be kept warmer from the engine heat.
I joined the forum primarily to research the Edge ST and learned quite a lot in the process. That process eventually led me to the Nautilus and I ended up ordering a 2.7 Reserve in magnetic gray with black interior this afternoon. I'll still come around to see what everyone is up too here and hopefully contribute some in the 2015+ Edge & MKX section. ?
I was finally able to take a test drive this afternoon. It was a balmy -18 Celsius so not a true cold weather test. I must say though that the HVAC is definitely up to the task. This particular unit was on the lot and hadn't been started in a few days. It was up to operating temperature in no time at all.
The Edge is very quiet.
If you pause the video at the one minute mark you will see the information that would be on the printout minus the air/fuel graph which some tuners elect not to show.
So 4 years later I'm reviving this thread to ask if this will ever happen?
Of the several forums I participate in, this is the only one that isn't supporting the app.
