  1. I'd rather work with tuners that support SCT software and have no problem waiting for that to happen...….even it doesn't.
  2. AFAIK they store you're factory strategy and can upload it to you if things go wrong. Not a fan of their proprietary minimalistic programmer.
  3. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now. I totally agree on it being a big improvement.
  4. I finally got around to installing a spare UPR 4 stage catch can on my Nautilus. The mounting bracket is made from 6061-T6 1/4'' plate and 3/4'' Delrin round stock. Stainless steel 1/4'' NPT street elbows and 1/4'' NPT to 5/8" barbed fittings are used on the catch can. The Ford 90* fittings are leftovers from a supercharger install. I went with grip lock fuel/oil hose, same as what UPR use for their plug & play systems. I gave Gates shrink clamps a try for this project and highly recommend them. They give the hose assemblies a factory made look. This can is smaller in diameter and longer in length than a JLT can and that's why I located it where it is. An upside to that is unobstructed access to the oil filter. I'm into it for just under $ 40 not including the catch can cost. Output side is nice and dry after 1,200 km.
  5. Not that bad of a fit once all is said and done. ST looks real sharp in Magnetic Gray ?
  6. Feel free to use this link: https://www.calculateme.com/gas-mileage/liters-per-100-km-to-us-mpg
  7. I just went through my first tank and averaged 11.4L per 100 km. (20.63 MPG) calculated. That was approximately 70% city driving. I'm sure it will get better as the motor breaks in. I filled up with 91 octane (no grain) and will see if it improves any.
  8. Install Ad Blocker Ultimate and use the "Block element" feature. No more banner!
  9. I'd avoid designs that utilize sintered bronze. If they ever plug up you will only know about it when your seals start leaking because of crankcase pressure build up. The best designs rely on mesh as has already been mentioned. Easy to clean and far less likely to plug up. Here is a UPR 4 stage catch can like the plug and play version on my other car and soon to become a plug and play unit for my Nautilus once I get done making the mounting bracket.
  10. I went down this path 30 years ago with a tuned fox body car. 160 = warm air, 192 = hot air. When it gets down to -20 and colder I prefer hot.
  11. Great that everything is back up and running, I was going through withdrawal symptoms after a couple of days. I was thinking the worst like DoS attack or something bad like that. ?
  12. Ya it was built mid May so probably they have things dialed in by now. I didn't buy the car to flog it though, just wanted something nice and quiet with reasonable get up and go. It's stablemate provides the adrenaline rush whenever I need one. Looking forward to your comments on the LMS tune and hoping that it fixes what ails your ST.
  13. Does it make access to the oil filter more difficult?
  14. 5 days into owning my 2.7 Nautilus and I figured I'd weigh in with my experience with the transmission so far. The up shifts are smooth but quick in D mode when you get on it and S takes it up another notch. Down shifts are a tad laggy but not overly so. No lurching, bucking or slipping, it just goes about it's business without drawing attention to how it operates. I've been following this thread with some dread while waiting for my car to get built but so far so good. I don't know why Ford is having problems with the programing of this transmission because IMHO Lincoln has nailed it. If anything it would indicate that Ford should be able to make things a lot better with future updates.
  15. Borla usually hits the mark when it comes to sound and performance but there are always exceptions. I'd hate to spend that kind of money and not be happy with the sound or have a drone issue. One thing is for certain, it will never sound as sweet as a Stelvio Quadrifoglio V6. ?
  16. From one speed freak to another: Congratulations!!!
  17. I test drove the Edge ST at the Ford/Lincoln dealer. After the test drive I happened upon a Nautilus and had a "woah" moment. I'm a speed freak from way back and not getting any younger so I decide it was time to indulge a bit for my daily driver.
  18. Okay so the truth is finally out as to why your gas mileage is shite compared to everyone else's.
  19. No one on the Nautilus forum has complained about the transmission shifting. I take delivery of my 2.7 Reserve in about 3 weeks. I drive everything like I stole it so will report back after I take delivery.
  20. Nice to see Unleashed on board for the Edge ST. I prefer working with tuners that use SCT software and programmers. Looking forward to more updates on this.
  21. Actually it's the vertical field that's adjustable. vertical = up/down. Horizontal field= left/right. You're right about Fords only having the one adjustment.
  22. Yours may have a knob. Mine has adjustment screws for adjusting the vertical and horizontal fields.
  23. We can agree to disagree. I'm just not aware of any car manufacturers that have developed a gravitational lens for their lighting system.
  24. Light doesn't have a trajectory so aiming them higher wont get them to shine further down the road.
