  1. You were comparing the performance of your 3.7 MKX to the 2.0 Fusion, not the Edge. Here are the real numbers: 2013 Fusion Titanium 2.0 FWD - 3427 lbs. 2013 Fusion Titanium 2.0 AWD - 3681 lbs. 2016 Lincoln MKX 3.7 FWD - 4168 lbs. 2016 Lincoln MXX 3.7 AWD - 4387 lbs.
  2. And which one weighs 900 pounds more?
  3. Agree with this but found your response to onyxbfly somewhat odd. You almost seem irritated........?
  4. If you are referring to your first post in this thread, you alluded to a possible option in Forscan. If you provided more complete information to a similar query earlier then a link would have been nice. A third possibility that it's just one of your typical irritable responses.
  5. My Nautilus doesn't have it either. I had it on 2 previous vehicles and I miss this feature a lot. It was quite useful when backing into my garage which has a fairly steep incline. The 360* camera view is nice but not nearly as confidence inspiring as good old fashioned side view mirrors.
  6. On the Nautilus they did away with the TED's and went with conventional heating elements for the heat and a fan for ventilation. I suspect the Edge would have switched to this system now. The flow to my seat backs in ventilation mode isn't very noticeable either. The heating function works great though.
  7. I'd stick with the factory or a quality aftermarket paper filter like Wix if longevity is a concern.
  8. Spent some time researching the web on the Dry Flow filter and I'll stick with the factory paper filter. Not so much of a concern with my Mustang which has significant performance enhancements and doesn't see gravel roads or operation in dusty conditions. "Bob Is The Oil Guy" is an excellent resource for this type of information. Here is a flow vs filtration test : ISO_5011_Test_Report_for_AFE_ProDry_75-80882.pdf
  9. Thanks for the clarification. I run a large conical dry flow on my Mustang. It made just north of 680 HP on a Dynojet so you know they can flow some air!
  10. Do you have a part #? No dry filter listing on their website, just oiled.
  11. I enjoy looking at my salt free Nautilus every time I walk into the garage and look forward to driving it as soon as spring arrives.
  12. Luxury cars have semi-aniline (top grain) leather surfaces. This is a breathable leather and requires special products like those offered by Leatherique The leather seats in the Edge are polyurethane coated split hide leather (what's left after the top grain is removed) so anything that is recommended for vinyl will work just fine. A great product for interior cleaning/detailing that works great on plastic coated leather and all interior hard surfaces that leaves a nice satin non greasy finish is Chemical Guys Innerclean Just remember that you are cleaning/treating plastic, not leather. Most automotive products that claim to be for leather are optimized for plastic, vinyl and rubber surfaces.
  13. The holes are for the most part cosmetic. The 6 piston calipers will more than compensate for them. Superb looking setup.
  14. Honda Passport Elite AWD: Curb weight - 4,237 pounds, First gear - 4.71:1, 3.5 V6 has no turbo lag off idle Ford Edge ST:---------------------- Curb weight - 4,486 pounds, First gear - 4.48:1, 2.7 V6 has turbo lag off idle The specs don't lie and there should be no surprise that he schooled you off the lights. The Edge is a tank and Honda skimps on sound deadening materials to save weight.
  15. Exactly! ST is more like Sport Touring when it comes to the Edge ST. And the price reflects what it is and what it's capable of.
  16. Your car has the 8F57 transmission. 19-2313 is the latest TSB for this transmission that I'm aware of.

  18. Order one up for a Nautilus. Nautilus Engine Cover You can tell everyone its Lincoln powered ?
  19. As per Livernois: Edge ST baseline numbers: 284 HP/ 360 WTQ. LIvernois Dyno Results
  20. Claude, It's not impossible for the 2.0 to be modified to make more maximum HP & TQ than the 2.7 TT. It's just not going to happen with the stock turbo and a canned tune. And even if it were possible the 4 cylinder transmission wouldn't be able to handle it.
  21. Going to a Sorento 2.0 turbo from an Acura RDX V6 I know exactly how you feel. While the Sorento was a better vehicle in almost every way, the RDX V6 was silky smooth where the 2.0 turbo was coarse and sounded like a .......like a 4 cylinder. That has all been remedied with my Nautilus. The 2.7 TT is smooth as can be and pretty quick too.
