AMulally Posted July 30, 2019 Report Share Posted July 30, 2019 (edited) Not sure if anyone has seen this, but this looks a little odd - like it's an extended wheelbase, or an [L] version - or the roof rack is creating an illusion of a longer-than-usual Edge. Check out the interior - WTF is that screen ? There is a video of the Edge Vinagle as well in the link; love the leather wrapped dash/console/door panels, and especially the carpeted trunk panels on the side. The change is the rear hatch/window and c-pillar is way more upright, and it has more rear overhang from the rear tire back. omar302 Posted August 1, 2019 Report Share Posted August 1, 2019 Didn't find the updated Edge on Ford's China website, but found the brochure for the 2016-2018 style. Some very interesting pictures there. Download page. The PDF is 30mb and I couldn't attach it. Note: Weelbase is 2850mm (112.2") which is identical to the US Edge. The 2015+ Edges almost look like they are trying a bit to hard with the super slanted rear window. That severely angled window leaves less room in the rear before cargo hits the glass compared to the first gen Edges that had the more upright glass like the Chinese one. The first gen Edge's rear window seems a lot closer to the standard MK2 Edge than the MK2 Chinese Edge, tho.
