How to carry keyless entry LARGE fob.

Recommended Posts

So for the last five years I have carried my RAM truck keyless entry fob in a belt pouch that I sewed. And DW smallish Buick on my key chain.  Along came the new Edge with its over sized fob, which I have been clipping to a belt loop. I looking for suggestions to better carry the two fobs in belt pouch(es).

How are you handling this?

Thanks Chris

You have a room full of mud?

It's a holdover name from the snow belt - a room where you can sit and take off your muddy/wet boots and store your coats, scarves, etc. before entering the main house.   Ours is next to the garage.  Very handy.

The one on the left in that photo, .......I carry with me in my right pants pocket - having difficulty understanding how or why that would be such a tough decision.

I was being facetious.

(Guess I failed, smile).

I used to have numerous flat car keys on a ring, which were no problem in a pocket.  Now I have the large FOB, in addition to house keys on a ring that I have to carry.  In the summer my cargo shorts have a small pocket that it fits perfect in.  In the winter it goes in a jacket.  It is when I am wearing jeans that I have a problem. I have a similar carabiner that I hooked to a belt loop, but it kept getting caught on things. So for now I only carry one FOB at a time and just deal with it in a pocket.
