  1. Just to clarify 3.5 engine is port fuel injection. 2.0 and 2.7 turbo engines use direct injection. All are fuel injected and all have a throttle body.
  2. That’s way too easy. Who can afford $8?
  3. Your link doesn’t work but did your edge come with sync 2 or sync 3? If you already had sync 3 all you needed was a new USB port.
  4. But does it fit over the big brakes? That’s most likely why it isn’t included.
  5. I was actually referring to the other issues with nav loading very slowly, etc.
  6. No IPods just a usb flash drive with mp3s or I use my iPhone via Bluetooth.
  7. You have a bad apim. I have it in 2 vehicles with no problems but I did have to get the apim replaced once in the f150 for similar issues.

Huh? Octane is literally a measure of resistance to spontaneous combustion and that causes knock.
  9. I think most of the added benefits like oil coolers, etc. are standard now. I added a hidden hitch to my 2016 MKX and it does not interfere with the lift gate hands free function. I'd say it's a no brainer since you don't need the wiring harness either for the bike rack.
  10. Well it's in the 2.0 Ecoboost forum so I'm going to assume it's a 2.0 Ecoboost. Everything I see online says it should be 1 on the passenger side and 4 on the driver's side.
  11. Nobody reads the manual anyway (except me)....... They're so lazy they'd rather post the question on the internet and wait minutes, hours or days for someone to spoon feed them the answer - even if that person has to go look it up - rather than take 5 minutes to find the answer themselves.
  12. More than just a few, especially in states that don’t require them. I have one on my pickup but I would not accept one on any of my previous cars or utilities.
  13. Most people think the front plate is ugly and detracts from the looks of the vehicle and they don't want to have to plug the holes.
  14. Not that difficult. There is a bolt or screw holding a clamp at the bottom front of the battery. Remove it and the battery slides forward so you can access the negative cable.
  15. Seems like a few have installed it and liked it.
  16. Maybe in a few years. The first 12-18 months of production is already sold (reserved).
  17. Yes, new model launching in a couple of months based on the next Gen Ranger platform.

  19. You need a tuner if you want more performance.
  20. Tuners and Forscan can only change data values so it depends on whether the PCM code uses a flag to tell it to send the gear indication or if it's part of the code logic.
