I haven't tried it on sync 3 - I assumed it would work similarly.

No plans announced yet. I've heard that it does have the new hardware and that it does not - my guess is it does not and you won't be able to do a simple software upgrade. If you want to double check look up the screen part number for the 2015 and 2016 on fordparts.com.

It will show up automatically when the low fuel warning comes on (at least that's how it used to work). Otherwise just say "destination poi" "by category" "fuel" "nearby" or something like that. POI is under the Destination menu option (you don't have to set a destination - you're browsing for a POI destination).

It's hard to understand, but here are a few tips: Your foot must be on the brake to shift from P to D. There is a switch behind the brake pedal that controls it. If the transmission is in D the engine will not start - it must be in P or N. If you park on an incline (a hill) and don't use the parking brake, the transmission can get stuck in P. If none of that helps, the shifter itself might need to be replaced.

Usually yes.

It's accurate as in that vehicle was sold to that dealer. They show up a couple of weeks before they arrive and it can take a week or two to remove them after they're sold.

Are you using the dealer search from the Ford website?

iPhones don't have to work for 20+ years. Plus, I don't recall Apple announcing any new features or even the existence of a new iphone until the day of the press conference. Everything you hear before that is just rumor.

I'm pretty sure they didn't sit around and say "what feature can we remove that will piss off Edgex007?" Maybe that interface had to be completely re-written for Android Auto so it wasn't worth doing by itself. Or maybe there is a compatibility issue. That's just software development 101. I'm sure there was a good reason for it and it should be fixed within a few months with full blown Android Auto.

The best way to get one is to request a brochure about 30 days before you plan to purchase. I've done this at least 3 times and gotten a $750 offer all 3 times. For the MKX I requested one on Friday and got the email notice from Ford about the offer 6 days later, and bought it 2 days after that. I've also gotten them unsolicited from Ford even when we weren't shopping.

Ford doesn't follow any set timetables for releasing new model year vehicles. Whenever the vehicle is ready it gets released. Might be February, might be December. And it always gets the next calender year designation no matter when it appears (like the 2017 Escape). Not that I know of, but destination input by voice works perfectly and is very fast.
